About the authors
I have been writing since I was nine years old.
Here is one of my first works, one my father has memorized.
It's a poem.
FEET
"Feet are neat.
They are neat
Because they are feet."
I hope I've improved since then.
For the last thirteen years I have been writing about pets, kids, health, and humor.

Pamela Williams is a pastor's wife, mother and grandmother. With a B.A. in English from Shippensburg University, she has been freelance writing for over twenty years. Her stories and articles have been published in a variety of print and online magazines.
Six books in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series contain Pam's stories, including the recently released Chicken Soup for the Soul: Finding My Faith.
A to Z Devotions for Writers is her latest book (CrossLink Publishing, 2013). CSS Publishing released Pam's church and community resource book, Baccalaureate: Guidelines for Inspirational Worship Services to Honor Graduates (2008). Her Good Friday drama, "Wasn't It Just Yesterday?" was published in CSS Publishing's Anthology, Traveling Calvary's Road (2007).
Pam loves to encourage authors to view their writings as a fulfillment of the Great Commission. Blogging is one of Pam's newest loves. You can find her blog at http://www.2encourage.blogspot.com.
Suzanne Baginskie and her husband, Al, left New Jersey and relocated to the west central coast of Florida. She’s been writing ever since her mother gifted her a five-year diary for her eighth birthday. Unknowingly, her mother’s inspirational nudge helped the writer inside her emerge.
She recently retired from a law firm as a paralegal-office manager. Now she writes daily, spinning tales of romantic suspense that pair tantalizing mystery with compelling romance. Fascinated with strong FBI female characters and their male counterparts, she loves solving cybercrimes and situations that involve human and drug trafficking. In her books, the special FBI agents working together through difficult life-threatening criminal activities usually fall in love.
Each morning, she takes a four-mile walk and meditates on her current writing project. A voracious thriller, crime reader and movie buff, she'd volunteered for eight years at the local sheriff's office and also supports her local library association as a friend. She loves traveling, especially on cruise ships. Most sea days on board, you’ll find her plotting stories outside on the deck, gazing at the beautiful blue ocean.
The first published book in her "FBI Affairs" series is "Dangerous Charade-Book One" released on October 17, 2021. "Dangerous Revenge-Book Two," followed on December 1, 2021, and "Dangerous Innocence-Book Three" was recently published on April 20, 2022, by Magnolia Blossom Publishing. She is currently working on the next book in her series.

Bestselling author, Kathleen Shoop, holds a PhD in reading education and has more than 20 years of experience in the classroom. She writes historical fiction, women’s fiction and romance. Shoop’s novels have garnered various awards in the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY), Eric Hoffer Book Awards, Indie Excellence Awards, Next Generation Indie Book Awards, Readers’ Favorite and the San Francisco Book Festival. Kathleen has been featured in USA Today and the Writer’s Guide to 2013. Her work has appeared in The Tribune-Review, four Chicken Soup for the Soul books and Pittsburgh Parent magazine. Kathleen coordinates Mindful Writing Retreats and is a regular presenter at conferences for writers.
I adore writing historical fiction (The Letter series, After the Fog and Donora Stories that are coming soon!) but am having a blast writing romance like Home Again, Return to Love and Tending Her Heart (Endless Love series). Thank you so much for the time you take to read.

Nikki Studebaker Barcus, a friend who attends my church, is included in this collection. Her story "The Truce" about rival farm cats is heartwarming, when the corn-field stray, makes up and offers truce during the birthing process of the other. Of course, knowing one author, makes me prejudice to pick a favorite for "My Cat's Life" but choosing second place from the remaining 100 cat-tales is hard. You will enjoy the romp through this Chicken Soup collection. Take them one at a time, daily, or use it like Readers' Digest, have it resting on a bathroom shelf (within reach for the short readable times), or best, like me, read it on the patio swing. I had a stray cat walk between me and the pond while reading, giving me a new gentler feel for the bird-stalking feline.
Not all stories are just about a cat. Human relationships with this animal make up a goodly portion of the book and, yes, inspire, warm the heart, and touch on the compassionate bone of the soul. Not my first Chicken Soup book purchase, but it was my first ANIMAL Chicken Soup book purchase, and now after reading, not my last.
Chicken Soup is long noted for quality writing from not only published authors, but also from common folk who enjoy journal entries at home. This collection is no exception. A great family book, gift idea for cat lovers, and a potential change of heart for a few.
