Unlike the human body, we don't think syrup should be composed primarily of water. And yet that's what most companies do along with adding preservatives and other additives.
With ChocZero's Honest Syrup line, we've created a syrup you can trust with an ingredient list you can pronounce.
A sweet strawberry syrup to use on your sundaes, baked goods, and even protein pancakes! Tastes great as a highlight to any dish. Try on some cream cheese for sweetened strawberry cheesecake fluff, pour on waffles to have a lighter version of strawberries, or use on whipped cream in beverages for the perfect accent flavor. It's like eating fresh strawberries! We use natural coloring and extract to bring you the only healthy sugar free strawberry syrup on the market.

I'm on Weight Watchers, so if anyone is wondering, a tablespoon of this is 1 smart point. Stir it into your zero point yogurt, or dip strawberries in it for the best snack EVER.
BTW, it's tasty. Some odd chemical flavor I don't recognize but generally OK. Pours very slowly and it's very sticky. Nice container with spout that resists unwanted dripping.
For just adding a caramel taste to your drinks this is great stuff but use something else to supplement to sweeten it more if that is your goal. I combine 2 tsp of this in 24oz coffee with 1/16 tsp of monk fruit sweetener and it works great.
Well worth the cost, especially when you're craving FLAVOR on a strict diet.
I had tried the chocolate one and loved it. But what could I use the caramel syrup for?
I've been known to just squeeze some of the ChocZero chocolate syrup out on my finger for
a chocolate fix, but none of you gentle readers would do that, right?? The caramel did not give
the same sweet "fix" as the chocolate does, and it seemed much thinner.
I did finally find something it was yummy on. I am the only one in my house who likes pancakes.
Weird, huh. One weekend, my husband decided to make a pancake of some sort (don't ask, don't tell), so I
decided to use this syrup on it. Now, I don't normally do regular pancake syrup anyway - I leave the dark colored stuff for other folks. I prefer vanilla Karo syrup on my pancakes. So, using the caramel was going to be an experiment of many kinds.
I am happy to report that this stuff was GREAT on pancakes. It was nice to know I would not be getting a sugar rush from having a simple pancake. The taste was good, and the thickness was great for the pancakes.
I want to try it in other recipes at some point, but to date, have not done so.
The ONLY complaint I have about ChocZero products is that they seem to have a hard time keeping enough in stock. That's a nice problem for a corporation to have, but sad for the customers.
Try it. You'll like it!
