Book Club Girls, Jess, Hark, Leda, Stihl and Minnie find their special alphas.
Jess Yarrow, is a women of many tallents. she financially supports her parents. Plays in the Book Club band when needed. Worked the MMA circut. Mostly works reception at her brother's gym, which she is part owner. Kane is second in his Minataur Heard and newly mated to her friend Karo's sister. She is the herds ward. Jess is an archer, and doesn't know who her alpha could be. Though her friends may have figured it out.
Caber Vines, retired football player, rancher, business man, and Centaur Alpha. An intriging video is sent to him, prompting flower and prompt visit. Jess agrees to visit his home, but is arrested by her potential father in law on the way. Caber method of bailing her out is humiliating, but effective.
Caber and Jess are off to a rocky start. His mom makes her welcome. His football buddies, all not your typical Alpha's show. Jess already knows Melbourn, another Centaur. She lost a MMA bout to him. He is hers too.
Jess gest some help from her sister in law, manageing her brother and his heard, after they have a long over due blow up. While Kane loves her, he hasn't been the best brother.
Her mates mother are welcoming, their father's not so much, her men have her back, and she wins them over.
Then she has her own parents. Her father in a Coma and omega mother fading. Jess thinks she knows how to wake her dad.
Caber offers shelter to two of Jess's book club friends. Hark and Leda. Walker, another of Ford's older brothers, has found his mate, in Hark. They belong to the night and to dreams.
Leda, is looking for a geen man. He is close.
Catering a wedding, Book Club girl, Stihl ( Yvette Markee) runs into the man she connected wiht 5 months ago, who promptly dumped her when the Omega Center called. Still unmated, he wants her back, but not as a mate, but as his side piece. Stihl walks away, heads for home, back to her grandparents. She will accept whatever mate her powerful Alpha grandmother chooses. She has twins she has to protect, and their father, gargoyle, Waverton Halelson, doesn't want the job.
His younger brother Edgerton and her friend Minnie, also a book club girl, and Edges assistant, are well on their way to bonding.
Luna meets her Stihl at a society luncheon, and plays her game. Waverton and his grandmother make an appearance, and negotiations start. Luna and Jack step in with Stihl and the baby are in danger. Wren sends Edge the reason. To save Stihl, and her babies, Waverton has to claim her.
Great story with a lot happening in the book club. Jess is the main story. MF MFM. Karo's sister, got a little of he story told in Karo's story and more in Jess, she his mated to 5 Minotaurs.
Walker and Hark get a few pages, their courtship, sweet and easy. Leda finds her green man, and that is all we know. Edge and Minnie are courting and it seems to be going well.
Stihl and Waverton, get a short story. A nice second chance romance. Book Club girl Zena is introduced.
Epilogue with Dell, the Book Club family is growing. Lots of rare Alpha's finding their mated among the altered Betas. Lots of babies. Their little are is becomeing a mecca. Looking forward to the next book.
