I love Christmas movies!
Verified purchase
Lacey Chabert is one of my favorite actresses! She's down to earth and I love her smile. Christmas movies always make me happy, and this one is special. Glad I have an all region dvd player. Wish the movie would be released in the U.S.A. Or perhaps if dvd companies made all their dvd and blu-ray players all region. Let's just say this movie was enjoyable and I will watch it again. The dvd came ahead of schedule, so I was happy all the way around.

OC and Dude Where's My Car

I loved Chris Carmack in the OC and Marla... Well, let's just say I was a big Dude Where's My Car fan and so I recognized her and her voice instantly. Me and my cousin used to recite Dude Where's My Car over the phone to each other at night while watching the movie (age 13-14). This movie actually gave me vibes of both those old shows. The actors totally made it :) Thanks!

Basically, a syrupy Hallmark crossed with Groundhog Day

Sorry to sound like a scrooge here but I watched this because at the time it had 5 stars and glowing reviews here -- and I suppose if you like treacly, formulaic, Hallmark romance movies and you don't really care about sense, you might be perfectly thrilled with this one. I had thought the day repeated over and over element might be amusing but, without spoilers, it really wasn't.

Smells like Teen...

Wow. This is much too on the nose about people being stuck in high school. They are supposed to be 27-29 years of age and the exaggerated and painful cliché behavior is just too much to put up with. Next time try separating a romance holiday movie from a slapstic dumb and dumbest skit.

A good movie, unfortunately only available as a Region 2 disc.

I thought this was a quite enjoyable movie, albeit a "chick" flick. It's a great film for a guy to watch with his honey around the holiday season, although it's not playable in the U.S. on the average DVD/Blu-ray player. To play it here, you must have a region-free player or know how to re-author a PAL (Region 2) disc using a computer, which I chose to do. Why this title isn't available domestically baffles me, as ION Television has run the film every year for the past three, but a recording from ION will have ad breaks and ION's logo on the screen throughout the movie.

FINALLY A GOOD ONE

Great little film with lots of interesting moments. A bit of Groundhogs Day meets Christmas and a good twist in a Christmas/Wedding themed film. Nicely pulled together.
