All of this is justified by the duress our heroine experiences by the hands of the evil mom and the tweevils. Kinda tired of the overplayed "bimbo" trope as well. People who are mean aren't always hyper-feminine. It's just thinly-veiled misogyny. On the flip side, our heroine knows tons about motorcycles, and that is portrayed as very desirable to the love interest of the movie, enforcing that you are worth more as a woman if you have more knowledge of predominantly male activities and interests. Like, oh! She really isn't like other girls. SMH. Maybe I'm nit-picking, but I'm just kind-of done. Works in wattpad, not in a movie.
