For Clementine, spring is a really big deal. Who doesn't love Clementine? These are my favorite books for bedtime stories. She's a complex little girl with some great insights. The stories have great messages and I have to admit, I always get a little teary at the end of each book. Pennypacker has a great way with words and her narration through the eyes of a little "attention-challenged" girl are very genuine.

All our favorite characters are present (OCD Margaret, Mom, Dad, and Mrs. Rice the principal). Clementine's concerns and the way she deals with a new student in the class, as well as her chicken adventures on the class field trip make for a wonderful book.
