The Coleman 5453A700 Powerpack Single-burner Low-profile Propane Stove is pretty much as easy as it gets. The Powerpack's fully adjustable flame lets you boil water or simmer chili, while the PerfectFlow system of pressure-regulated propane provides consistent cooking performance (without flaring or flickering) by producing a steady fuel stream, even in cold weather, high altitudes, or when fuel is low.
This Coleman stove is constructed of an aluminized-steel cooktop and removable, nickel-chrome grates so you spend your time on the trail instead of on cleanup duty. The large 3.25-inch, 7,500 BTU burner is to the side of the propane cylinder in a low-profile fashion that ensures this burner will always be one of Coleman's easiest and best.

What really sold me on this burner was the youtube video I am linking on here. [...]
Even though the YT video is somewhat cheesy and long, this guy went through the gambit with testing this stove: from boiling, carbon dioxide/monoxide, temperature, etc. After all of the reviews, he literally sold this stove to me. Coleman needs to pay whoever this guy is. Anyways, just get the stove. In fact get two if you are a prepper for a backup and for an extra source of heat if in a critical situation.
In all, a bomber of a stove.
Would be 5 stars, except I think the propane bottle is going to get in the way on my small table. I have a hose to adapt to a remote 20lb gas grill tank, I'll be trying that. Since the regulator is on the gas bottle and there is only low pressure in the tube, I may cut the tube and use some hose between them to remote the small propane bottle.
Flame control is a little odd: you have good control for a half-turn or so and then it's maxed out but you can still turn it quite a bit but it won't go higher. Max flame is good enough it just reaches it quickly on the dial. Still love it though
I originally had a 20 lb. tank which was connected to a standard connector which had a regulator slowing down the propane, and then two hoses after, one for the BBQ and the other which has a connector which simulates as if the hose was a1 lb. tank. However, the metal connector leading to the stove has a built in non adjustable regulator which slowed down the gas flow even further, so that it would not stay lit. So, the stove connector requires the full pressure that comes out of the 20 lb. tank. The answer for me was to get a Y splitter on the20 lb. tank so that there were two connectors to the tank, one hose leading to my BBQ with its required regulator and the other to the hose that acts like it is a 1 lb. connected to the
stove. I was then able to fire up the stove with all of its 7500 BTU's.
