About Colleen Brunetti
Whether for adults or children, at the heart of Colleen's writing is one message: You define the life you love.
Her books are learning tools, intertwined with captivating story telling. Her children's books include comprehensive Common Core Aligned curriculums, and her work for adults provides hands-on activities that spur the reader to action.
Colleen's first book, "Defining the New Normal: A Guide to Becoming More Than Your Diagnosis" tells the story of triumph over a life-threatening diagnosis and teaches others to do the same: to thrive, not just survive, no matter what the medical charts say.
Colleen's children's books run on lighter themes, but always with an eye of finding hope, fun, and beauty in challenge. "Aidan the Wonder Kid Who Could Not Be Stopped" takes a lighthearted and beautifully illustrated approach to tackling acceptance of kids food allergies and intolerances.
Her future works (in progress) will continue to build on the themes of accepting and embracing challenge, while creating a world for yourself in which you can thrive.

You re-define everything.
Cancer. Rare disease. Autoimmune disease. Lyme disease. Multiple Sclerosis. Something else. Whatever it is that brought you to this book, you know you have a big diagnosis, and you know want to feel better. You know you want to defy the odds. And you can.
This book teaches you to re-define each area of your life so it works within your health requirements, while also moving you towards feeling better - mind, body, and soul!
It isn't earth shaking. It isn't crazy outside the box.
But it's practical.
It's effective and replicable.
And and you can do it too.
Why am I qualified to write this?
At 28 years old, I was handed a death sentence in the form of a rare diagnosis. Diagnosed with a rare lung disease, I was given 2-5 years to live.
That was over a decade ago. As it turns out, life expectancies are sometimes more like loose estimates.
I realized that maybe it didn't matter so much how much time I had left. Maybe it mattered more what I did with that time. And so, very methodically, I began to make over my life, one piece at a time, moving towards better health than anyone ever dreamed possible for me - including the doctors! In time, I became a certified health coach and began teaching others to do the same. And so, this book was born.
One part memoir, and at least three parts how-to, tailored to YOU, this book shows you how to define a life you love... no matter the diagnosis.
Get this book today. Because you deserve to feel better, and you have the power to make that happen.
