I like the beginning of the book.The way Jacob and Destiny were introduced was a good start. However, Jacob started getting more and more selfish. And while Destiny acknowledged that she didn't like it, she still put up with it. Yes, they did seem to love each other but it was too much selfishness on his end and she just accepted any and everything that she got from him even when he was wrong. Also idk how I felt about Kyle. He was obviously a good friend to Destiny and still loved her but not in a romantic way .The whole thing with them getting engaged was just not the best plot point.

This book was definitely a page turner. I liked Jacob although I didn’t like his disregard for his mafia he vows and if truth be told he was selfish by pushing so hard. I honestly didn’t like Destiny. As a wife, I hated how much she disrespected his marriage while pretending to try to stay away. I think she made up her mind to cheat as soon as she felt his interest in her. And the fact that she could look his wife in the eye was bold a trifling. As much as I didn’t like Destiny, I could see how the affair could happen especially when you refuse to set boundaries

Really good story about the gray situations we sometimes find ourselves in through choice or fate. This storyline definitely added its own spin on the cliche love triangle/unhappy marriage. I confess Destiny’s decisions continued to baffle me to the very end and made it hard to connect with her but life and fiction can be messy. Good story!

Some will hate this book, even after reading the book description. I enjoyed this book, knowing full well what it was. I think I made light of the situation because the lead character is a celebrity and my perception is that this is how the majority of celebrities live ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ big assumption I know. What I didn’t like is the back and forth between Kyle and Destiny. That got on my last nerves!
