I liked it!

I liked the movie for so many reasons. One: I used to hang out in W. Hollywood way back when I was younger the year I lived with my Father ( who lived in L.A.) So, its my favorite area. I loved how is it Chris Dennis tells the Ghost Rider character NOT TO SMOKE cigarettes. I'm a former smoker who has finally quit so I liked how he was gently saying to his friend 'not to smoke' . I haven't finished the doc because I have some other stuff to do. However just last night I learned that the 'Superman' guy Chris passed away! I am really sad to have learned that. Learned about it on YouTube channel. RIP. At least this young man left a positive legacy. I'm so sad about him & his life. FYI upon studying the cast member pic's on here, I notice that Sandy Dennis resemblance. Don't know about anyone of you on here but Chris sure does seem to resemble her ! How sad! And, that contest in Metropolis, were the voters high or something? Those other contestants looked AWFUL! Chris was THE BEST looking among those other contestants. Thought he would have been a shoe in. Contest was probably rigged. Typical country goobers.

Beyond sad

The Superman character struck me as someone who has lead a tragic life but preferred to live within a created existence. So sad the poor guy died months ago homeless, trying to get clothes out of a donation bin. All the characters, with the exception of The Hulk, seem to be maladjusted individuals. By far the most depressing documentary I’ve seen in a long time. Five stars for the filmmaker’s respectful treatment of the stories.

One of the best docos of the last 20 years

I think this film is what gives documentaries a good name. One of the best docos of the last 20 years - especially if you're from LA and you've seen these guys, who are omnipresent on the Boulevard.

I hve to admit, watching the delusional Batman is probably my biggest draw to this. It's... well... fascinating.

Check out The Reeinactors (spelling?) if you like this one - it's like Confessions, Part 2.

I make everyone who visits me in Los Angeles see this movie and then I take them to Hollywood Blvd. Disturbing, hilarious, and infinitely interesting. That's show biz!

Weird, sad show you can't take your eyes off of. It's a slow motion train wreck.

It was so sad that they had their dreams dashed, but they still put on the costume everyday to try to earn a living.
