A Masterpiece

Truly a masterpiece at every level, adjectives cannot properly describe this movie. What truly astounds me is that virtually no one, including most of those who rated this movie highly, understands the true genius of this film demonstrating once again that what is of the greatest value is often not appreciated by the many, only by the few. It reminds me of some of the greatest artists whose works of art were scorned or ignored during their lifetimes only to be placed in the pantheon of greatness after their deaths. Unfortunately ignorance is not bliss - it is simply lack of a soul.

Art???

OK, I am going to be very honest here. This movie is an abstract story. Do not try to rationalize things from this movie. This story is about greed and humanity held hostage to the top 1%. How they have power over everybody. Some people meet to take a decision about economy which can be catastrophic to the world. In reality there is no way a bunch of white people and a Japanese guy can influence entire globe. It's just an expression.

I think I understood the movie but I also have my doubts. I can not pretend to be an intellect and give 5 stars. May be 3? I seriously don't know if the movie is great or total POS.

I loved this film. Nobody is better than Toni Servillo. He’s so versatile, likable and great-looking. He played his role with perfection. This is a thought-provoking film with many wonderful moments. I highly recommend you watch it!

interesting

layered and interesting, some magic, a little trickery and moral and ethical dilemma. Something to chew on. Well done with some clever bits.

Interesting Situation

but increasingly silly as the movie progressed. The movie revolves around an event. This event is revealed in flashbacks as needed to move the plot along. I found it tedious.

interesting premise, but deteriorates into silly drivel

Despite the kernel of an interesting plot, the movie degenerates into smarmy drivel.
