Good read

Intriguing Series Definitely Worth Reading

Intriguing series definitely worth reading, even if not the author’s best series, because of some interesting inclusions such as a series of “war dogs”, which are human brains specially modified and incorporated into robot bodies and programmed to be superior military strategists and a couple of experimental solders whose abilities have been boosted by having them take an addictive drug. Also interesting is the competition among shifting interests, combinations and alliances among various organizations of humans versus each other and a mysterious threatening invading alien species.

Unfortunately, none of the characters seemed all that interesting or appealing to me and there are too many intertwining plot lines occurring simultaneously, each of which are often covered in brief snippets, to develop any strong momentum.

Still the series is definitely worth reading and I am enjoying it as I proceed thru it.
