The characters were really interesting, I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about them. There were points where I really liked them and there were other points where they just got on my nerves. However, the storyline was entertaining and I was able to finish this book relatively quickly.
Eve wasn't really my sort of character, but I still wished the best for her as I read about her. She was in a really unfortunate circumstance, but she tried to make the best of her situation. I felt sorry for her, and I grew to like her more as the book went on. Her father had given her a horrible choice, get married to the man who tried to take advantage of her or leave the church. But Levi gave her another solution, marry him, a stranger, but someone who wanted to help her. As the book went on, Eve learned to see the good in where she was in life and what it meant to love her husband, Levi
Levi was kind, but he also seemed sort of impulsive. I did like him, but he was kind of moody. However, he was trying to help out someone in need and was learning to leave with the ramifications of his actions. He had good intentions, but being married was a lot of work. Levi needed to learn how to love Eve and lead her as the head of the household.
Courting His Amish Wife was a good book. It was cute and sweet, great for a quick afternoon read. Courting His Amish Wife is a clean, Amish romance.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the publisher through Netgalley. All views expressed are only my honest opinion, a positive review was not required.
