Born and raised in a small coastal town in the south I realized at a young age that I was more adventurous than my conservative friends and family. I loved to travel. My passion for travel opened up a whole new world and new cultures to me that I will always be grateful for. I was raised to treasure family. I always knew that at some point in my life I would leave my story book life and become someone's mother, someone's aunt and hopefully someone's grandmother. Little did I know that the birth of my son at a later stage in life would make me the happiest I’ve ever been. He will always be my biggest achievement. The desire to be a work-from-home mom is what lead me down this path of publishing books.

While I have always loved reading I never realized how much I would love writing until I started. I feel like each one of my books have been influenced by someone or something I’ve experienced in my life. To be able to share this gift has become a dream come true.

Charity, Alejandro and his daughter are great characters that I fell in love with immediately. Both main characters need to learn that you can love again. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their journey.

I cried and laughed with these amazing characters. Savanah is a high energy highly intelligent child who is perceptive and precocious. She is most likely ADD although that label was never attached to her due to her overprotective doctor Dad. She was allowed to grow and project all that energy into a healthy girl. Charity is sweet and tough and funny and beautiful in a totally non traditional way and all of them were dealing with their own grief but they came together as couples often do, using their individual grief and pain to become healed and whole again.

A widowed dad raising a precocious daughter and still grieving his wife, meets a hard working cowgirl who's heart was shattered by a cruel selfish ex-husband. Sparks fly when they meet, surprising both of them and starting each on a journey to actually living life again. Loved the characters and the whole family this series is based on and can't wait to read the next book in the series! Great job Natalie Dean!

This story really touched my heart and soul. Both Charity and Alejandro and Chasity were suffering their loses from their pasts. I loved this story. I loved the characters, the small town setting, and most of all...the whole Miller family.

Charity from a failed marriage from a man that cheated on her, and tried to embezzle money from her family. As if that wasn't enough, he went on to constantly berate her until she lost her whole self-worth.

Alejandro wife- and the love of his life- worked 2 jobs so he could finish medical school. They had it all. A great marriage, a 16 month old daughter, and a bright future a head of them when his wife was diagnosed with a deadly cancer. She lost her life a month before he took his last medical exam. As time went by, he threw himself into his work and his infant daughter.

But these two came together, after he took over a medical practice in a small town. Together they found a way to heal their wounds, and move on. It was a long process, but so worth it.

After a long wait, finally the predominantly female branch of the Miller family comes alive with Charity, Dr Alejandra, and who could possible forget Savannaha (the doctors daughter 10 years old going on 30 years. What a delight she was) The story was well written, the plot sweet, nothing too dramatic but heart warming none the less. Charity the eldest sibling was strong, practical and fiercely protective of those she loved, it was hard to believe that a previous love had ground her into the state of vulnerability but he had, and it was such a joy to see her develop trust for the Doctor (who also had emotional issues) and his daughter.
A wonderful story I would thoroughly recommend .
I received an ARC copy from the author but as usual I have purchased my own copy, as this is another book by Natalie to keep. I look forward to the next book in the series.
