5.0 out of 5 starsAn Excellent and Powerful Movie - Stick with the DVD
Verified purchase
This movie was beyond anything I expected. It packs a punch you think you see coming - heck, maybe you do, but it hurts like hell anyway, no matter how many times you feel it. The DVD is appropriately priced. No extras, but worth the money to have this film in your collection. A refreshing, no-CGI, standout from the overproduced pap that seems to be flooding the theatres lately. And brilliant performances to boot. Definitely worth adding to your library.
NOTE: Stick with the DVD. The Bluray is nice, but it also has no extras and comes in at 38 bucks which is just north of pricey for an hour and a half film you can pick up for 10 bucks on DVD. I bought both - huge fan - but wouldn't recommend the BR purchase to a casual viewer. DVD is just as good as BR (Disc in a box) and the low-budget, real-film production doesn't necessarily warrant watching it in ultra-high definition.

5.0 out of 5 starsA MUST WATCH for everyone!

I'm familiar with Director Collin Schiffli and Actor/Writer David Dastmalchian's previous work called Animals which also has a dark tone and raw look at life, but this one takes a look at a different, darker part of life. The pacing kept me glued to the screen until the unexpected twists and turns that complete the film. This is one that i'll be thinking about over and over again and recommending to my fellow film lover friends. This movie deserves atleast one watch...if not multiple viewings.

3.0 out of 5 starsdisturbing

It' s hard to rate this one, the story is really disturbing and sad and I felt like the preview did not accurately represent what I was getting myself into, but I will say the story kept you engaged until the bitter end.

5.0 out of 5 starsDidn't see that coming

I choose to watch this movie purely based on Karen Gillan being a main character. It was actual a good movie. I was totally invested in the movie from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 starsExcellent acting and very well written

Very well written movie, flowed very smoothly. Characters were well thought out. Movie time was good and didn't drag out too long and the story lines were all tied up by the end.

5.0 out of 5 starsGreat indie.

Very good movie, not action-packed, but seriously a great plot line. The relationship between the protagonists, and their history, is revealed about half way through—soon enough. A little sad...
Put cc on because you won’t want to miss their conversations.

Great acting by Karen Gillan.. but story not for the sensitive, shows how life is very hard for some people.
