In my opinion this is the best movie in the entire Rocky franchise!
The will to never give up, and the message behind the film about over coming adversity really hits home.
Michael B Jordan is amazing as Adonis Creed, and he once again proves that its not about getting knocked down in life its about getting up and rising to the occasion!

Definitely not the greatest of the series but it works
I'm always amused reading the gut reaction 5 star reviews from those who have just watched it and consider it the best one ever. In actuality it's an alright movie if quite predictable. It's really a mix of Rocky III and IV in how the story progresses. That's alright, I liked those movies. Jordan comes off as more organic here than the first but I still find the girlfriend/wife to be flat. If you compare this performance with that of Talia Shire you can see why Adrien was instantly iconic. So giving it 4 stars.
They need to get rid of the Rocky revenge part. Stop making him fight the kids of all the people Rocky fought. LOL If you have a 4k (UHD) TV the support HDR 10,10+ get the UHD version. This will downplay to 1080 if you happen to have another TV in the bedroom etc that isn't 4k. I was surprised cause I was expecting this to work in my bedroom 32 inch 1080p tv. It looks awesome on My Vizio 60" 4k TV in my livingroom.
The whole premise of the movie makes no sense. Creed wins the heavyweight title and then all of a sudden forgets all of his training and allows himself to be beaten by an untrained fighter from Russia so Rocky can "save the day" again by helping him to train again and win another fight in Russia. Boring.

unoriginality is typical
sadly these films have become regurgitated and boring. Better off watching Rocky IV again. Nielsen is a tranny.
Great movie, motivational, handful of emotional moments. Perfect addition to the Rocky world. If you want something different, out of context but still boxing, check out Southpaw. Both are great movies.

Creed 1 was far better
Creed 1 had a much better story. This one follows true to Rocky. As they advance, they decline in quality. Hardly as bad as the orginal one with Dolph, but if you have to choose one or the other, definitely go with #1.

The best movie I've seen in a while. Love the chemistry between all the characters but especially Michael B Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. Watching the determination of a person being knocked down and rising is truly impressive and very inspirational.
