Fans of the bestselling The Crimson Deathbringer series know what to expect: Three epic space opera books, with over 1000 pages of thrilling space battles, deadly alien threats, and unforgettable characters. Add to that campy humor and enough twists and turns to put Alfred Hitchcock to shame, and you get the series’ second box set in all its glory.
The box set includes:
BOOK 4: THE SILVER TIMESHIP
What will you sacrifice to save the entire universe?
Following Jim’s audacious plan, Kurt and a team of Marines traveled to the future to destroy Voltex. However, in doing so, they inadvertently started a chain reaction that ended with the extermination of all life in the universe.
Now our heroes must get together one more time to save the universe before it is too late.
BOOK 5: THE SCARLET QUEEN
Can a time machine be used to save the galaxy?
Before teaming up with Tarq, Xornaa was a spy/mercenary with a terrible reputation.
After finishing a successful mission, she receives a mysterious offer, one that involves a lot of money for a seemingly easy job. But she’s gone through the wringer several times in the past, so she has her suspicions, especially when she finds out the Akakies are involved.
The femme fatale mercenary soon realizes that things aren’t as they seem, and her actions could have world-ending consequences.
BOOK 6: THE WHITE REPUBLIC
What will happen if the Akakies turn into the Klingons in a parallel universe?
Aided by their vastly superior technology, they’ll conquer their own galaxy, and then they’ll come for ours.
The White Republic’s navy decimates the Federation’s forces in a surprise attack. Now Jim and his friends must unite once more to kick out the invaders and liberate their worlds, but they have only a few thousand ships left. To make matters worse, they’re under a tight deadline, and time’s running out.

About the author

This is Jim Harrison, your favorite flying ace. If you’ve read my trilogy, you know these books are autobiographies, and Sean Robins is just a pen name. If you haven’t, well then, SURPRISE!
*****
Sorry about that, guys. I could never resist a good meta-joke.
So, this is me. The real me, Sean Robins. Unfortunately, my life is nowhere nearly as interesting as my main protagonist’s. I’m a university/college-level English teacher, and including Canada, I’ve lived and worked in six different countries. I’ve met people from all around the world, which is probably why my characters look like the bridge crew from Star Trek (They are from US, Germany, Canada, Cuba, Mexico, Russia, Japan, and Ukraine, plus a couple of aliens and an AI). One of my female characters even impersonated Uhura once, albeit posthumously.
I’m a huge Marvel (plus Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, and Stargate) fan, which shows since my novels are loaded with pop culture references. If you are a sci-fi fan (I assume that you are), you’ll enjoy them tremendously. Moreover, while the books aren’t comedies, I can guarantee a few laugh-out-loud moments. Case in point: The “good” aliens are a race of pranksters, whose main goal in life is pulling other people’s legs (They have four legs, hence the slight change in the idiom).
My favorite author is Jim Butcher (The Dresden Files), which is probably how I ended up writing in a first-person POV with the same light-hearted, funny tone as he does. The fact that my MC’s name is Jim is purely coincidental though, and it has nothing to do with James Kirk either.
I hope you enjoyed reading The Crimson Deathbringer as much as I enjoyed writing it (her?). If you did, don’t forget to read the next two books in the series, The Golden Viper and The Black Fleet. Also, please follow me so that you’ll be the first to know whenever I write a new book (which sadly isn’t that often, maybe once a year—I tend to rewrite everything fifteen times before I’m satisfied). I think the easiest way is to follow me on Amazon, but Goodreads, BookBob, Twitter (@seanrobins300) and/or Facebook (facebook.com/seanrobins300) are also good options.

o juvenile to rate as a classic but could be turned into a comedic movie series without too much work. Still characters you learn to care about. A little bit.
You definitely want to start with book one as each book interconnects with the next quite well, but you won’t regret giving this series a try. It’s one of my all-time favorites!
Review of The Scarlet Queen - This prequel to the Crimson Deathbringer series reveals additional background that was implied earlier in previous books. It also further fleshed out some of the characters and expounded on their relationships. I especially enjoyed the backstory of Xornna and her journey. This action-packed story was filled with space battles, intrigue, suspense, humor and sorrow.
Review of The White Republic - This thrilling fast-paced book is action-packed with exciting space battle sequences, unexpected twists and turns, memorable characters, drama and farcical humor. I enjoyed the addition of the new characters and was saddened by the loss of others. I am looking forward to the next adventure!
The narration of each book by C. J. Grey was flawless and exceedingly entertaining, adding depth and emotion to the characters.
So if grab the audiocopy and discover why C.J. is absolutely perfect for this nuanced action-driven series!
