Surprisingly entertaining

Being a Jason Gedrick fan I purchased this movie hoping it would be as good as some of the reviews indicated. I was not disappointed. A very entertaining movie about a trio of boys who are 3 years beyond HS graduation and are still wearing their letterman's jackets and "cruising" in their notorious HS car called the "war wagon". Interesting and entertaining as you spend a few days with them as they are faced with individual struggles in their lives which brings them to making a life changing decision toward the end which makes them realize it is time to grow up. Highly recommend this movie for anyone who can remember "those days" in their own lives after HS.

I really liked it. The music was so retro and really fit into the scenes. The acting was great. I'm a huge Josh Charles fan from his Dead Poet Society debut. My favorite part is when the boys choose right over wrong at the end.

Great film about coming of age

I really loved this movie. Having been in high school a few years later than this film was set, I found it to be very realistic. I saw a number of personality traits from the three main characters in myself and my friends. We too had an old Buick we cruised around in, and we too came from homes without stability. I recommend this one.

Great coming of age film. Reminds me a little a Breaking Away, but with a little more edge.

Thought it would be something else.

I'd hoped it was more about smuggling but it's really just a coming of age film than anything else. If you want a decent story, check it out, but if you're looking for a lot of tension or action go elsewhere.

Great sound track and a good movie from the '90s that captures Detroit in the '70s.

Truly a great movie about 3 young kids coming to age, smuggling drugs across from the Canadian border. Although it is not a blockbuster, it is still a great movie down the line; a Classic one.
