Grabs you and doesn't let go until the very final moment. A really well done film with a killer performance by Thomas Jane.

Sometimes cops do bad things, but that isn't the norm

I really liked this movie. It shows how hard it is to be a police person in this day. Many people don't trust the police and it makes them targets. When a police person tells someone they are following to do things, such as get out of the car or put their hands up you should obey their orders. I know there have been many high profile cases against police in our country in the last several years, but that is an outlier. The majority of police are working a thankless job and are exposed to extreme danger and hardships. It's sad that military personnel get such a welcome response when a lot of police personnel get hostile responses. Many of these police personnel don't get any sympathy, but they might be working in much more stressful and damaging situations than military personnel.

Couldn't Finish It

This is basically Adam-12 with lots and lots and lots and lots of cussing. And more cussing. This movie would be half as long if you took out all the profanity. I'd rather have dental work done than watch any more of this. If you're looking for a police drama, watch Dragnet or Adam-12 instead.

I'd rather get punched in the face..

This is the most unrealistic cop movie I have ever seen. 'Time Cop' with Jean Claude Van Damme is more accurate than this movie. I would rather get punched in the face than watch this movie again.

I'm not a LEO, but have been around enough to know some, and it really brought me in. The dialog is really natural, and kept me interested...well written in my opinion. Police officers have a job, that I believe is harder than non-police officers can imagine, depending upon their beat.

Boring, Could Have Been Good!

This film gets lost in redundancy. Barely able to hear the dialogue. Not enough action sequences interspersed with the character study. And the two freaks driving around in a car riddled with bullet holes in the wind shield is like what?. The flip side is Thomas Jane pulls off being a LA cop. And Bridget Moynahan does a good job playing a down and out junkie. It would have been much better if it was along the lines of Colors or End Of Watch.

Dont Bother...corny, poor acting, lots of film bloopers....ugh...just bad...

One of the worst movies I have seen in a LONG time...poor acting, rushed plot and MANY theatrical bloopers...car driven is never the same, Prisoners in the back seat magically disappear without being taken to Jail and JUNK storyline. GOD AWFUL elevator music is non stop throughout the whole movie. From LEO perspective I had second hand embarrassment the whole time.

this is a night in the life of a patrol cop film, gets off to a very slow start and lots of redundancy. Thomas Jane does his best Dennis Farrina study as a veteran grizzled cop. there are 4 elements to this film 1 - two bank robber/cop killers are on the loose causing mayhem, 2- the 2 cops . 3 a missing little girl whom is tied to the veteran cop Ray Mandel. 4 two douchebag undercover cops that keep popping up in the film. more character study and storyline would have made the beginning of this film much better. The film doesn't get interesting until the last quarter. overall worth watching.
