The Baci sisters are on a mission to save their families winery...or at least Alessandra is still driving the mission. Her sisters seem to be about ready to throw in the towel, but will support Allie in whatever she decides to do. What no one counts on is that the plan, which involves turning the vineyard into a wedding destination, will run into not only contractor issues but neighbor/partner issues. But, Allie will do what it takes, even if that means spending time with celebrity Penn Bennett and his obnoxious condescending attitude to her. Too bad her hormones won't ignore Penn like her head tells her to.

Penn can't believe the little "actress" has everyone believing that she is the young innocent woman they think she is. He has seen her type in LA and even dated a few. But, she does seem determined to stick to her act and make this winery a wedding destination. Now if he could only get his libido to ignore the "Nun of Napa" as Allie is called.

Crush on You is the first in a new trilogy by Christie Ridgway who brought us the Malibu Knitting Club Series (a wonderful trilogy of books). I thoroughly love the premise for this latest trilogy, but I have to say that sexy Penn might be a little too much of a jerk for me. His scars cause him to treat Allie in a way that I just wanted to hit him for. He never seemed to believe that she could be as good of a person as she was. As usual, Ms. Ridgway writes such a wonderful scheme that I am able to imagine the small town they all live in and how the townsfolk would react to Allie and her past tragedy. Overall, I enjoyed Crush on You and will be looking for the next story in the trilogy, but I have to say I don't think it is as good as any that were in the Knitting Club Series.

Well written. Likable family. Gorgeous setting in Napa. All 3 sisters are unique and great characters. All 3 love interests (though not the 3 I predicted in the first book) are great guys and suit their chosen woman. I love the family history. Enough included to make it have depth, not so much that you feel like the characters have nothing else but a past. They all have their pros and cons in their personality and are well developed. Personally I hate when an author manufactures a woman that is so annoyingly dumb I find myself cheering that the guy will find someone else and leave the heroine for any other character in the book. You will NOT say that with these 3 Italians. I will definitely read more by this author.

I loved all of the characters, they all had great stories who's descriptions weren't all told right away so the story keeps you guessing up until the end. This series/trilogy is supposed to be about Allie's sisters trying to save their family winery while falling in love with the neighbor guys who their family has had been in a feud with the guy's family for generations too. I'm curious as to how the stories with the other sisters will play out.

Crush on You is the first book in the Intoxicating trilogy. Its is a Contemporary romance with an Enemies to Lovers trope. This book is well written, with interesting characters, no cheating or cliff hangers and a HEA.
