After defeating the nightlace vine eager to kill every outling on campus, I’m feeling cocky. But nothing ever goes smoothly for me, does it?
The good news first. I’ve not only figured out how to ride an aldakor, I’ve convinced the naiad living in the moat I can be trusted. You might say I’ve got an in with magical creatures. And I’ve found a new best friend who’s awesome, even if she’s keeping secrets. The bad news? Donovan’s bespelled. If I don’t break his curse, we’re doomed. And, in my class, Magical Horticulture of the Night: Adding the D to Deadly, I accidentally freed a beatleycarne, unleashing the deadliest prankster known to the fae world. Need to catch that baby and lock it up fast before the Academy collapses around me. Seems like I’m fighting one crisis after another.
Then someone unexpected emerges from my past. And the person responsible for the nightlace murders? She wasn’t working alone, and the wizard isn’t finished with me yet. With the beatleycarne wreaking havoc on my life, Donovan bespelled, and someone determined to kill me, I need to harness every strand of power I can find. Because a battle’s coming and only one wizard will emerge the victor.
An exciting new world for magical academy fans, filled with suspense, a badass heroine, and flirty romance. Unraveler is the third book in the complete, young adult Crystal Wing Academy series. Books one and two, Outling and Dragonsworn, are available on Amazon. This book is 89,000 words.

All three books were amazing. Books one and two had mini mysteries all their own, which kept me on the edge of my seat. There was, however, the biggest mystery which ran through all of the books and concluded beautifully in the third book. There were a a few things I figured out on my own, but not without a great deal of thought.
It is so hard to tell much about this story without giving things away, so I will just say it is so much more than just the blurb written about each book and well worth the cost to buy the whole series. Nothing was rushed, not even the ending, which often happens.
There were happy moments, sad moments, moments that made me angry, and moments that made me cry especially at the end. The villain in this final book was not anyone I would ever guessed would be the ultimate villain of the series, but looking back , there were clues sprinkled throughout the story.
I now love dragonflies and dragons even more than I did before. I want a pet Cerberus, and I find spiders more repulsive than I did before I read this book. I like stories with a lot of meat to them, and this book, as well as the whole series delivered.
Only part I was confused by was her parents. Not clear who they were , how they met since the humans are in a “parallel world.
Hope her Sister has her own series that explains this.

Enemy who is not who you might think, enjoy🦄

I really liked the character development throughout this book and even more of the interesting creatures.
I would’ve liked a bit more with Donavon even in the end but at the same time it was really nice having such a friendship focus over all.
Highly recommend this series!

Love Capria so much - for a Cerberus puppy as big as a small house - and Alex... oh, that broke my heart. Still, the ending made up for that with what had to be one of the sweetest endings I’ve read in a while.
