About the Author

"Nacido y criado en Hawai, Robert pertenece a una cuarta generación de japoneses-norteamericanos. Proviene de una prominente familia de educadores. Su padre era la cabeza del área de educación en el Estado de Hawai. Luego del ciclo superior, Robert se formó en Nueva York y, después de graduarse, se unió al Cuerpo de Infantería de Marina y partió a Vietnam como oficial y piloto de helicópteros de guerra. A su regreso, dio inicio a su carrera de negocios. En 1977 fundó una compañía que trajo al mercado la primera billetera de nylon con Velcro para surfistas, la cual creció hasta convertirse en un producto multimillonario mundial. El y sus productos fueron publicados en Runner's World, Gentleman's Quarterly, Success Magazine, Newsweek, e incluso Playboy. Dejando atrás el mundo de los negocios, en 1985 fue el cofundador de una compañía internacional de educación que operaba en siete países, enseñando acerca de negocios e inversiones a decenas de miles de graduados. Jubilado a la edad de 47 años, Robert hace lo que más le gusta... invertir."
