OK Paranormal Romance

Short paranormal romance between Annabel~~ a monster hunter & Chance~~ one of the monsters she's supposed to hunt & kill.
The story is short so the character backgrounds & build up are swift & brief, Annabel would prefer to focus on working at her beloved Louvre & Chance, despite being a monster, genuinely likes & craves the company of humans.
Both our main characters have secrets but a devastating & unexpected medical diagnosis for Annabel throws everything for Chance & Annabel off the rails. But will Chance offer her 'The Cure'? And if he does, will Annabel accept it? And what, if anything does the future hold for them?
I found the writing overall to be good, although (IMO) a fair amount of the dialogue between Annabel & Chance seemed stilted, flat or occasionally silly. But overall it was a fairly enjoyable read.
No real violence, no OW/OM drama or cheating, some very mild angst but no overdone emotional drama.

The story was good but the execution not so much. There were gaps in the flow of events so I had to re-read some places because I thought I missed something. I found the characters interesting and likeable. This is just a little time waster for me.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this paranormal love story, I need a man/vampire like him in my life, a true gentleman and Annabel was strong and intelligent hunter, the intense chemistry and connection between them kept you reading until the end. Enjoy!
