Cursed Luck Kindle Edition
Kennedy Bennett comes from a long line of curse weavers. For centuries, her family has plied their trade in Unstable, Massachusetts, an unconventional small town that’s welcomed paranormal practitioners since the dawn of spiritualism. Kennedy has recently struck out on her own, opening an antiques shop in Boston, where her speciality is uncursing and reselling hexed objects. Then Aiden Connolly walks into her life with an offer she really should refuse.
The scion of a wealthy family of luck workers, Aiden has a scheme to get his hands on the most famous cursed object of all: the mythical Necklace of Harmonia. He’s not the only one after the necklace, though. And he’s not the only one looking for a curse weaver to fix it. Kennedy’s sisters are kidnapped, and she finds herself plunged into the underbelly of the magical world where even Aiden is in over his head.

This story doesn't have sex scenes, which may be important to some people, one way or the other. She does write good sex scenes, though. Maybe as the relationships progress...
Kennedy our MC is a curse weaver I find the mythology of this book to be completely fascinating and I loved the concept of curse and luck weavers. Kennedy has two sisters who come from a powerful line of weavers who have honed their skills for centuries. Kennedy the middle sister has chosen to master the Jokers Jynx which to most this would mean she lacks skill in weaving so resorts to mastering simple pranks or minor curses. Most do not truly understand that the most difficult and sometimes most dangerous of all curses lie hidden within the jokers Jynx because it can be as malicious as it can be playful. Curse weavers can both place and remove curses on objects.
Kennedy has moved away from hone to maje her own mark on thexworld and opens an antique shop specifically to uncurse and restore valuable antiques.
Kennedy finds she is tested for a job she doesn't want under false pretenses and finds her sisters are kidnapped nearly at exactly the same time.
This all revolves around what is one of the most famous Cursed object in history.
Can Kennedy find her sisters, the object and safely remain free from harm? Maybe with a little luck and a lot of talent!!
Absolutely loved this book and look forward to more in the series. The narrator is perfect and truly brings the story to life.
I was very drawn into the world building and the character development felt natural and believable. Another 5 star home run!!
So I was so insanely giddy to find a brand new Kelly Armstrong Series.
Cursed Luck was fun and delightful and I can't wait to read more about the Bennett sisters and the Connolly brothers.
I thought the book lost some of its verve when the focus shifted from the Bennett Sisters and Aidan to Vanessa and Marius. Armstrong's depiction of Greek gods in the modern era isn't the most original I have read. In addition, it did seem as though Kennedy forgave Marius too easily for being behind Hope's disappearance.

A little different from the normal witch scene, this makes it worth a read.
