Be careful who you invite to dinner...

Great movie about bad decisions catching up with you at the worst possible time and the wrong and then right way to handle things. Also a good study in how having frenemies in your life guarantees one some unwanted hellified drama! lol

I was glued to the screen for the whole time! This Nollywood film was so well done! It features great quality writing, actors, sets, and of course beautiful black people. Thank you Amazon for making this film available. It's a really scandalous and exciting story. If you like love stories and drama pick this tonight!

too melodramatic
Verified purchase
gets a little melodramatic at times. you wonder why they don't just tell their partner about their past lives right up front, and why they get so upset about things that happened before they had even met. and you also wonder why ANYONE would be friends, or be attracted to, the sexual predator character. overall, not too bad, but sure could use a more coherent script.

WARNING: Rape Content
Verified purchase
This movie deserves negative stars. First of all, I'm pretty infuriated that there is no mention in these reviews about the sexual assault of on the main characters. If a woman is incapacitated and cannot consent, it's rape! I kept waiting for the "fiancé" to maybe say ok, wait you had taken pills before you got there and they took effect and that's when Richie made his move? Let me defend you! But no he kept going on and on about how she cheated, making her defend herself. Her soon to be mother in law didn't event come to her rescue. Save yourself from a disgusting movie. So disappointing because normally I really enjoy the movies these actors participate in.

I'd recommend!

This movie was quite enthralling and there's a lot to take away from it. One thing that stands out is the power of the company you keep, especially when that company is miserable. As the saying goes misery loves company and those wallowing in it will find a way to pass their misery around like table salt. Love, betrayal, and forgiveness are apart of life, how we choose to respond makes all the difference. Great drama with solid acting and a solid script.

This was a really good movie! When I find myself yelling at the screen or wanting to hit the nemesis in the movie that = a good movie to me.

Choices do have consequences

I gave it one star, soley because of the very ending...indeed corny...the unfortunate reality is many of men/ women are longer enjoying there freedom and let's keep it real some are no longer here on this planet because of lustful negative choices..
