Great Devotionals to Apply God's Word!

I have had a Daily Walk Devotional Bible since becoming a Christian about 25 years ago. This purchase is a digital replacement of my hard copy after the hard copy fell apart from years of use. The devotionals have been updated and are very applicable to the message and my daily life. The chapter introductions are so helpful for me to understand what I am reading. My only complaint is that I really prefer the hardbound version to digital. I like flipping through pages and looking up corresponding scripture. It is not as easy with this version (or I haven't figured out how to make it easy). That being said, I still highly recommend this Bible!

There is no substitute for alone time with God and getting to know him.
The daily walk bible has done more for me keeping a regular daily quiet time with God than any other resource.
The daily "Overviews", "My Daily Walk" (present day application / devotional) and "Insights" are outstanding.
I prefer the layout in the 2013 edition better, but the content is the same.

I'm really glad I did - it makes reading the bible in a year manageable and I find the introduction and 'insights' very interesting and informative. I also really like the inspirational quote for each day.

I would highly recommend this bible to anyone - those who've never read the bible before will find it invaluable and it is written clearly with no old fashioned grammar/sentence structures. Those who are seasoned bible readers will also find it invaluable as it has opened my eyes to what I may have missed in previous readings.
