Stubborn was something Rick had been called a lot. Independent. A loner. All true but, once a powerful healer connects to bring him back from the brink of death, Rick is in danger of losing that control and that privacy he so values.
Cara understands Rick’s need to be alone, but it’s not possible any longer, and that isn’t something she’s ready to tell him. That and the value of the connection they now share is something he has to find out for himself.
And the sooner, the better, as the attacks on the team continue, their temporary headquarters under surveillance, and their much-vaunted skills nowhere in sight …
Heading to Ashland, Kentucky, where his ex-wife’s family lives, is not in Jenner’s plans anytime soon. But, given a War Dog is potentially in trouble, well, Jenner will even face his past. Arriving at a small bed-and-breakfast, he meets a woman more interesting than anyone he’d met in a long time. His job to find this missing dog seems like a long shot, until he learns about the B&B neighbor’s son and his pack of dogs, who have been scaring Kellie …
Kellie loves her bed-and-breakfast establishment, as much as she loves meeting new people, particularly when she doesn’t have a great relationship with many of the locals, who judged her harshly for a past mistake. Determined to enjoy life regardless, she tries to move on but finds it hard to leave her past behind. And now there’s her neighbor …
Having Jenner around makes Kellie feel more secure and gives her hope that maybe good people still exist in this world. Yet, before they can truly move forward, there is a canine issue, … and a neighbor with something else on his mind …
Everyone has the right to make a mistake, … but the one Naira made isn’t one Scott can forgive. He wakes from a coma, sure that the ex-love of his life had been at his side, but finds no sign of her. When he does see her, he can’t get past a long-ago decision she’d made that tore them apart.
Naira had hoped that Scott would protest her decision way back when, but he didn’t say anything to stop her. Heartbroken, she went ahead with the business marriage to appease her father, which ends in divorce. When Terk called, she came running to Scott’s bedside, even knowing he’d hate to see her when he woke up. But she has always loved him and can only hope he might find his way back to her.
But finding his way back to the team is on his mind, with Naira second. Except that the operatives who took down his team initially are coming around and trying to pick off everyone left alive—and all the people they hold dear, … like Naira.
Rhys hadn’t expected a trip to Cottage Grove, Oregon to start with a house being shot up. If it had stopped there it would have been manageable. A drive by shooting that the cops should be able to chase down. But nothing was easy in his world. And this case went to hell right from the beginning…
Taylor, an army vet herself was struggling to regain a normal life after she was injured in an accident while serving. Taking on a war dog appealed as it gave her a connection that they could both relate too, but she had to pass some kind of interview before she could keep Tallahassee. An interview with someone with a prosthetic just like hers. Only he was far more capable than she was.
Still that was the least of her worries as things go from bad to worse, and she realizes these attacks were very personal… and very close to home…
Hiding out in the French Quarter of New Orleans only made sense for someone like Skylar Livingston. Owning a voodoo shop was just an added touch for fun. It also helped with her cover, plus gave space to the multitude of ghosts in her family. And her shop was close to the cemeteries, … a very necessary part of her … hobby.
Gage Hawkins was tracking his uncle’s last movements before his disappearance hunting a special set of tarot cards which led to Skylar’s shop, Talking Bones. After a bad head injury that brought weird sights into his view, Gage could see this Talking Bones place and Skylar were special. He could only hope she had answers because he had a lot of questions …
Skylar preferred the dead to the living most times, but Gage had her reconsidering. Until she realizes something is wrong in his world, and it’s quickly overtaking hers.
When Gage’s uncle turns up dead, more than the undead are in Skylar’s world. … A killer is too …
As his career path led him into more and more danger, Calum made a decision to keep his family safe, even if it meant he would be alone in the world. But when his wife and son are kidnapped and dumped almost into his very own secret headquarters, Calum knows his safeguards haven’t been enough.
Mariana didn’t like Calum’s decision from years ago but finally understood after her and her son are rescued from kidnappers, and she saw the dangerous level of his work. However, having him once again in her life, their family whole again, she’s not willing to let him go. Not this time. If the danger would continue, … surely they were safer at his side.
Calum’s abilities at an all-time low, his friends and fellow teammates injured and struggling, Calum knows he must be there for the team. Yet protecting his family comes first. But, if they don’t get to the bottom of the chaos that’s his current life, … no one is safe.
Corbin is tracking a cabinet minister’s pregnant daughter, who’d been snatched off the streets several days ago. The incident followed several other missing women’s cases, except those women already had given birth, and their children were also kidnapped at the same time. Then the body of one of the mothers is found …
Nellie would do anything to save her unborn child, but finding herself a prisoner was never something she expected to happen. When one of her guards grills her over an image of someone asking questions about her, she realizes she isn’t as alone as she’d assumed. Now if only a rescue could be mounted before any others die …
A rescue is one thing, but getting to the bottom of this nightmare becomes even more urgent, as the kidnapper refuses to give up on Nellie’s unborn child and the big payoff if he succeeds...

Full descriptions are below:
SEALs of Honor: Swede
His fellow SEALs have lost their hearts one by one while murder gets in the way of the promise of finding his own true love. Swede is on the lookout for his perfect mate, but if it'll happen is secondary to when considering that he's deep in the wilds of Mexico hunting a rebel training camp. When a group of civilians wanders into the middle of his operation, Swede is stunned to learn a woman he long ago decided was completely wrong for him is in the very place his team is setting up an extremely dangerous mission.
Eva loves animals, especially those in need. When a friend requests her help transferring a herd of horses from Mexico to new homes, she jumps at the opportunity…and lands herself in trouble. Swede is an old "frenemy" and he's determined to extricate her to safety before the rebels show up. Even as he works to shelter her, she struggles to protect her heart from him a second time. The rebels have plans of their own--one that isn't likely to involve a happily-ever-after in Swede and Eva's futures.
SEALs of Honor: Shadow
Given a life that's been little more than an uphill battle, it's no wonder Shadow is so damn good at dealing with whatever's the hardest, the most hazardous and hellish.
The life of a SEAL is the one place where Shadow is most comfortable existing. He's certain of what he's capable of achieving, knows when to act and exactly how to do what needs to be done. But when he sets off on a mission to rescue Arianna and her family, his world goes from precise, controlled action to blown-to-smithereens chaos. Who is this woman and why does she rattle him the way no one else ever has?
Arianna has been plunged into a foreign state of affairs that includes kidnapping, beatings, threats…and Navy SEALs. The only good thing about this nightmare is the dark, dangerous savior watching over them. Shadow doesn't seem to have a clue what to do with her. Although she has a pretty good idea where she'd like to see their relationship go, will they ever get that chance?
She's been marked for murder, and it's up to Shadow to save her--or risk losing what he hadn't even realized he wanted, yet now can't live without…
SEALs of Honor: Cooper
A highly-skilled practitioner of medicine saved Cooper's life and sanity while that same woman steals his heart.
Being a SEAL is at the core of Cooper's being, but he isn't just doing his duty when the doctor who miraculously restored him to life is kidnapped. He's the first in line to volunteer in her rescue.
Dr. Sasha Childs has devoted herself to helping others. Finding out her husband is helping himself to her best friend solidifies her sense of single-minded devotion to practicing medicine. Disillusioned about love, she volunteers her skills to a Syrian refugee camp crying out for medical aid. She's completely unaware of the war brewing around her until she's caught in the middle of it.
Cooper had his hands full rescuing Sasha from foreign hands the first time. After the war comes home, keeping her safe a second time becomes damn near impossible. Blessed with getting his life handed back to him, he discovered he needs a second miracle before the woman he's fallen for becomes little more than a casualty of war.
Aiden has high hopes for his own mission, but Las Vegas and a woman accused of killing her own husband wasn’t it. Then he finds out it’s a special request from a man he’s long respected and that the woman in question was his cousin. Even more confusing is the series of other murders that, according to the local law enforcement, are linked to her as well.
Toby’s life has been one long nightmare, and, just when a light shines in to save her, and she hopes she will survive this after all, the cops decide she’s the one who murdered her husband. Hardly … but, if she’d had the guts and the lack of concern for spending the rest of her life in jail for getting justice, then she’d have done it.
But, as it was, if they can’t figure out who and what is going on, she’ll be spending her life in prison regardless. And that would be a shame, considering she’d just met Aiden, one of the most interesting men to cross her path. Now if only he’d been here years ago, before her world went off the rails …
The journey back to consciousness hadn’t been fast or easy but, once awake, with weird images and voices in his head, Brody is all about getting back to the team and into the action. His senses are dulled, but, even then, he’s strong enough to know he has to leave the building where he’s been recuperating from the initial team accident. Not knowing any of the details doesn’t help, but it does mean trust is now the issue.
Clary came on board to help when Brody was lost on the ethers—and to help her sister, Cara, who had taken on more than she could handle with Rick’s care. And even though Clary had been forewarned as to how this type of connection could work, Clary didn’t expect it to work with her and her patient, Brody.
Having a healing pathway was one thing; … having a connection where you could hear thoughts, feel the same emotions, was quite another. And seeing how Brody fights to surmount the attacks on the team he loves so well only shows her how much more is possible—but not the event where she must test out her theory, … unless it’s to protect those she cares about.
With the bulk of his team down, Terk tries to establish a new base, while struggling to heal the team through the special connection each has. Damon is concerned about finding Tasha, one of their admins, and keeping her safe. But, without any secure place to take her, Damon’s making do with the little they have—whether she’s happy about his plan or not.
Tasha, barely surviving an assassination attempt, is not sure who to trust. When Damon comes to check on her, she can only hope her instincts and her heart are right about him. This man meant everything to her for the years they’d worked together, but he’d always kept her at arm’s reach. Now to learn that he and Terk are the only fully cognizant members of her old team, she wants to help but doesn’t want to risk her life … again.
Still struggling with their new reality, both Tasha and Damon need to find out who did this to them. It’s the only way to get their lives back—and to have a future together …
