The world building is well done, and the characters are both interesting and well defined.
In this third (and hopefully not last) book in the series, we find Erin dealing with a sudden influx of hunters, and the possibility of an old nemesis arriving in Westport. With the Illuminati City gone, it seems that Westport is an ideal place for those left homeless to start again.
Although Erin’s love life is non-existent, her world beyond Rosie’s bar is expanding, and the citizens of Westport have to band together to try and defeat the threat.
I can only hope that we see more of this series, because I really want to see Erin get her HEA. This book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger, and the ending is definitely happy, but the story is unfinished, giving me hope!
I really liked this book, it was probably my favorite so far. I liked the addition of Shawna, I hope we see more of her in future books. I wish Erin would find a decent love interest, but perhaps that will happen in the next book. I liked how the supernatural community really comes together in this book and am looking forward to the next one.
