I love RH. I love PNR. I love paranormal RH. I remember being somewhat on the fence with this book when I first downloaded the sample to check out, but I’m so glad I jumped in! It was a little slow to start, although I feel like it sets the overarching plot up really well. I LOVED the glimpses into the sins we meet in this first book and can’t wait to meet the other guys! I found this to be a really engaging story line, and I’m super intrigued about the involvement of the 7 sins.

First off, i am so in love with this book! It is refreshing and awesome whenever I find a recerse harem with a black female lead. There are MAYBE little more than a handful, and to see it so well written is an even bigger plus. Representation matters, and although I love a good book no matter the color of the lead, It does start to make one feel like the only woman who can be beautiful and lived by more than one man has to have pale skin. Thank you for giving me and others a book we can actually see ourselves in. On to the next one!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!
It is Book 1 of a 3 book series. A fallen angel is tasked with redeeming the 7 deadly sins in order to earn her place back in Heaven.
She starts out wanting to go home more than anything, after spending 30 years on earth. The task sounds daunting but she accepts it. She sets off to find the sins, learn about them, and figure out how to bring them to the side of Heaven. She goes to Greed first.
This book does not include all 7 of the sins. We only meet Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, and Wrath.
The original mission sort of falls to the sidelines as she meets and enlists their help with a much larger problem; demons from hell opening up portals/holes on earth and posing a huge threat to humans. She is not only faced with the physical aspect of this but also the emotional and mental aspects that come with learning her world is not as black and white as she thought. While saving the humans from a threat they do not even know about, she is also learning about herself, her previous home, and that the sins are not ONLY their named sin. They are complex and, while they are still their named sin, they are also thoughtful and balanced.
Greed is a rich business man with a bit of an alpha personality, though he's honestly not overly done in the jerk area.
Gluttony is sweet, thoughtful, realistic, and a chef. He owns restaurants and loves cooking for others.
Sloth is a playful guy that is a tech and security genius. He lightens the mood often, yet also has some very serious and enlightening moments.
Wrath is a hothead, quick to anger and always seems like he's growling and ready for a fight. He's also very protective once she breaks his guard down some. Though, in book 1 he's a bit untrusting of her and cautious.
Of these four guys, I personally crushed hard on Gluttony (Remi) and Sloth (Nix).

I listened to this on audible and loved the narrator choices for it as well.
It really set me up for the rest of the series and I grabbed book 2 right after finishing this one.

I enjoyed this first book. Characters are interesting and definitely fall within the representation of their sins. I found interesting how you can definitely see how they do possess some neutrality and they are not completely corrupt, but not completely nice either. I look flrward to reading the second book.

For the record, I qould say this is a medium burn, but it's a short story so you get to the good GOOD part halfway through. I recommend this.
