About the authors
"At his best Jeffreys writes memorable, perturbating prose with an overwhelming sense of menace. The stories stay with the reader, touching something in the psyche that is both troubling and intriguing." Bristol Review of Books.
"I've never before encountered a new author (new to me, in any event) whose work...grabs me so significantly from page one. When on his top form as demonstrated here...(Tim Jeffreys)...has the precious ability to grapple, I sincerely believe, with a writing gear in the horror or weird fiction genre beyond the reach of most."
D.F. Lewis.

I’m a librarian, writer, and fridge magnet connoisseur living in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. In my spare time I haunt deserted cemeteries, lose my heart to dashing thieves, and crack tough cases, all from the comfort of my writing nook. My short stories range from comedy to horror, with just a hint of dystopia in between.
My debut novel, "The Ghosts of Thorwald Place" is coming October 2021 with CamCat Books.
J. Rosina Harlow was born in Kent and studied at University College Chichester, where she was a winner of the Philip LeBrun prize for creative writing. Since then, she has worked in various libraries, schools and one haunted house.
Inspired by the Gothic, the natural world, fairy tales and supernatural themes, she writes dark, surreal or humorous tales.
Her work has featured in 'Adverbially Challenged' volume 2 and she is a recent contributor to the 'Dark Lane' short story anthologies.
J. Rosina returned to Kent and now works as a freelance musician and lives with her husband and just the right amount of cats.
