This is one of the most boring,uninteresting volumes, for me I wish I would've skipped it. The stories were unnecessarily wordy the winner being furtherest. It was unique engaging even though it too added unrelated filler I enjoyed it(I don't do spoilers). After reading the entire book and sitting through a story that made me mad(you know that story that you're reading that has potential to be good and gory because it's about the patron saint of death and it turns into a lesson of how people interpret music)I read furtherest again before i wrote the review so I wouldn't write a nasty petty review. In my personal opinion,I think the stories are not for me,I have read other volumes and enjoyed them yet I understand the odds that not all will be good.

I was shocked when the stories ended, I wanted to keep reading; this is the kind of anthology all anthologies should be, the kind where you can get lost in the stories, even though they are all different. Usually there is at least one story that you just want to be over so you can move on to the next, but not in this case, I thoroughly enjoyed each one. Even when I had to put the book down and come back later, I got lost in the story all over again. Can't wait to read more from the Dark Screams series!
