Arderin, princess of the illustrious Vampyre kingdom, has always marched to the beat of her own drum. After all, the author loves a good twist and wants the listener to uncover them organically. However, fans of romance - rest assured, each book has its own featured hero/heroine and HEA.

Ominous to start, Enlighting towards the end!

The Darkness Within is definitely the most ominous of the series. The male antagonist Darkrip is a damaged being who always tries to do the right thing but is constantly in the shadow of who his father is. For a character so torn with who he is and what he can be it’s very enlightening to watch him become the character he is towards the end.
Arderin really comes into her own with this book, she shows Darkrip what happiness can look like and gives him the greatest gift of all which is love.
Rebecca really outdid herself with the level of feelings this book delivers, it’s a 10/10 read and one that deserves more than 5 stars!

Upon finishing The Darkness Within I find that I am enamored with not just this book but with this series. Once again Rebecca has outdone herself, book 3 of the Etherya’s Earth series will not disappoint fans of the first two, I found it to be arousing and very entertaining, in other words, sexy, dark and full of surprises.

Needless to say I loved this book and highly recommend it, Rebecca has captured my mind with her imagination and I’m proud of her and to be a fan.
Now if you will excuse me Evie is waiting for me in book 4. 😉

I began reading this third in the series, wondering if it could compare to the first two, and in no time at all, no worries - I was hooked. The Darkness Within is just as awesome, if not better, but the books are all nicely different, just enough. I think this is my favorite so far, but I am quite partial to the dark, tortured soul of super hot Darkrip, and can definitely relate to the sassy, smart Arderin. I love the background plot and character development that just keeps getting richer and more intriguing. Once I start, I can hardly put these down. Bring on the next one!!!

I was waiting for finals to be over to dive back in to the drama. It was definitely the reward I deserved! Sweet, hot, and full of plot twists. Strong women come in so many different forms and RH explores them all through her books in this series. We aren't cookie-cut patterns of people and neither are her heroines or the men they love or how they express their love for each other. The world development is fantastic as I always enjoy my moments being there with the characters I've come to love.
I've pre-bought book 4...now I'm just waiting to read more!!

If you haven't read the first two books, I suggest you hurry over and do that now. The third of the series again takes you to another world in which powerful women thrive and show strong, and yet stubborn men, how to be loving partners. Book three is thrilling in that it combats evil and darkness and converts it to light and good. I'm always happy when love prevails. Looking forward to book 4 when it comes out!

The Darkness Within is the third book in a very enjoyable series with an over arching storyline and each book featuring its own unique couple.
King Sathan’s sister Arderin, Vampyre princess who yearns to be much more and Darkrip son of Dark Lord Crimeous are the intriguing leads in a story that highlights their enemies-to-lovers battle of wills which intensifies when fate has them forced together in a dangerous situation.
This was a well written adventure of action, drama, romance and captivating storytelling that was a very engaging read.

My god! I've been looking forward to Arderin and Darkrip's story since the first book. Darkrip is my absolute favourite character. Who doesn't love a tortured hero?

I adored these two. Arderin is so dramatic and sassy. Their arguments had me in stitches. They were absolutely hilarious together. And the steam? Oh my! Kinky 😉 I'm so glad I got to witness their love story and a redeemed Darkrip 😍😍😍😍
I really couldn't put this book down. I wanted desperately for them to have their happy ending. After the horrors of Darkrip's life, he totally deserved to find the right woman to teach him how to love. And it was absolutely everything!

I really can't wait for the next book. I was totally shipping Evie and Kenden from day one so I'm even more excited now 😍😍😍😍
