The information in this book is so buried beneath sheer verbosity the reader sleep reads through the important points. It's a marathon effort to complete a chapter.
The pictures were great, but the text is tedious and confusing to read. If you are a student using this book, I suggest that you use this book (since it is likely required reading), but also use Google, YouTube or other sources to supplement your reading and understanding.
I apologize if I am not providing examples since the information is copyrighted.

It's very difficult to read, using extremely verbose, technical language. Somehow, it manages to be excessively long and still fails to effectively convey information.
Content-wise, I feel it focuses too much on large databases in an enterprise setting at the expense of small databases in a personal or small business setting. I'm not an expert, so I can't really speak to how comprehensive or accurate it is.
If you need it for a course, you don't really have much of a choice, but if you're looking for a book for your own use, keep looking.
