One of my favorites!

I await a new episode every Wednesday. The jump ahead 20 years was a shocking and unexpected twist because I love "little Dai" so much but I think it was needed to sustain an older audience. "Older Dai" in conjunction with "little Dai" is wonderful to watch. It amazes me how much "older Dai" reminds me of "Young Dai" the same demeanor and mannerisms, idk if it's due to the writing or acting but I'm impressed. I'm enjoying the story lines, flashbacks, and character developments. Watching David suppress his emotions, childhood, and even relationships to survive is very relatable. I find myself receiving a sense of healing just watching David reflect and navigate life. I love this show and would highly recommend!

Why the 20 year jump ahead?

I was anxious to see the continued growth in David in the second season. I purchased it and was very disappointed in how Young David is now out of the picture. I’m sure there will be some flash backs but I personally am not feeling it.

NOOOOTHING LIKE SEASON 1!!! MUST HAVE A NEW DIRECTOR, WRITOR, PRODUCTION OR SOMETHING!!! IT WAS TO “ALL OVER THE PLACE” IF IT DIDNT HAVE FLASH NACKS OF THE PREVIOUS SEASONS AND CHARACTERS, I WLDNT KNOW THESE TWO SEASONS ARE EVEN CONNECTED!!! SO DISAPPOINTED….DMM2 WAS HIGHLY ANTICIPATED IN MY HOME, SO I TRIED HARD AND LOOOONG TO LIKE IT (I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE IT SO BAD) JUST CLDNT HOLD ON ANY LONGER.

A beautiful show full of hope and healing!
As an aspiring writer, this is the type of content I want to create! I've received so much healing from watching this series! To all of the writers, the director, the producers, the actors, the creator of the series, the crew, the network, keep slaying it! Everyone is so talented and we need to continue to create art like this to put out into the world! Blessings =)
