How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Being only barely familiar with the print MCU, I don’t know as much of the referential material in here outside of the most obvious characters. Still, I have no doubt there has been much hoopla in discussing (read as: yelling) about the viability of some of these kills (ie, Wolverine and Thor in particular), but the real rub here is the inevitable extension of Deadpool’s fourth wall breaking. While the meta-exploration of comic book existence is admirable, it falls a tad short of sheer brilliance. Still, a worthy effort with a natural choice to pursue it.

3.0 out of 5 starsthe first part is way better than the second
Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2020
This omnibus contains both Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again. The first Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe is hilarious, sharp, and entertaining. Deadpool has realized comics are fake and sets out to rid the universe of all the characters to stop all of the pain and violence. It ends with Deadpool getting ready to murder the writers of the actual book you are reading. Pretty sharp stuff.
The sequel Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again isn't funny or very entertaining. It's a pretty standard "Deadpool is being manipulated by super-villians" story line that I found a real step-back to the initial story. I found it very ho-hum and very typical Deadpool.
I would recommend just buying Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and ignoring the sequel.

2.0 out of 5 stars SPOILERS! The story line itself is cool...

!*! murdering Hulk is 2 pages...

Murder of Thor is both confusing, aswell as kinda clever maybe.

!!Spoilers!!

Deadpool heals together from at least 5 different pieces finds banner within about 8-9 hours and while standing right in front of him kills him with a sword. WTF? With one stroke I must add...

Thor throws his hammer at deadpool and deadpool "I THINK" jumps over the hammer while it was flying towards Thor and enlarged it so that it crushed Thor.... Took me awhile to decide that's what happened otherwise deadpool kicked Third hammer back at him... Also pretty sure moonknight fight was BS and I've never read any of that characters comics, big assumption I know but well bet you won't think I'm wrong...

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good & creative tale, with good artwork. Love the digital format.

Though I can appreciate the repeated fourth-wall breaking, I have to say I liked the idea of this book rather than its actual content. Didn't really care for the ending. But I love the Marvel Universe with its characters I've known all my life. It was entertaining to watch them all die at the hands of Deadpool. It's also a very short read, but it's got good re-readability.

Love the book. The way it was pakaged not so good. Definitely lost value as a collectable. Book alone was put into a bubble envelope with no other form of protection.

I liked the concept, but would have liked to see more action as opposed to just seeing the aftermath. For the other reviews saying it lacked the Deadpool humor, that was literally the point. This was a "what if Deadpool wasn't funny and actually insane?" Not a "normal Deadpool kills Marvel"

5.0 out of 5 stars Sitting here, on the Sat. Of HurricaneHarvey, Bacliffe, TX, watching the RAIN and the water come up in the yard and now covering the road...with 3 more days to go....it was a lovely, gory, appropriate read.

Seriously, you'll enjoy the storyline, the Art, the pathos, the revenge we've all secretly harbored.

3.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly quick.

Lots of things happen and it all happens crazy fast. The dialogue is a bit try hard with less pay off of other deadpool experiences. But it is an interesting read, even though I had myself thinking, "what?" after almost every death. I just feel if you are killing everyone with deadpool you can get a bit more inventive. The worst part is how short it is, I wish it gave us more time to digest the fights and their ramifications.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best DP story lines

Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe was probably the most interesting of the DP spinoffs. It’s also the most serious and bloody. There’s even a parental advisory on the cover. Basically, Deadpool’s mind tells him that he needs to wipe out reality by killing off all the Marvel characters. That’s not all though, he even tries to kill the Marvel writers! Awesome work by Cullen Bunn.
