Look out Progressive agenda
Verified purchase
Once again Dinesh D'Souza shows how the ideology of the Left shaped the fascist of the past & our current events. Using interviews, traveling to historical locations, & dramatic reenactments to inform the viewer of the dangers of the Progressive Left. All this not only to inform, but to plant hope. Hope that we will not follow in the footprints of previous nations that have died, but we would fight to live free.

Fabulous Movie
Dinesh knows how to pull history together to make an excellent nexus. Unfortunately, facts don't matter to those on the far left. The only issue I had with the movie is that Lincoln was not initially promising to stop slavery. He definitely wasn't quite what Dinesh presented before the war started and in the beginning. But what he quoted in the movie was accurate. The WWII information & other interviews and assessments were spot on. The problem with those who gave it a 1 star... I would guess haven't seen the movie.....or if they have don't know history!

Historical truth that has yet to be proven incorrect....

This is a must-see! But it will take courage, especially if one considers themselves to be part of the progressive/liberal movement. Want to know the truth about the legacy of the Democrat party, and the progressives? This is it! And don't allow non-specific criticism and accusations of "conspiracy theory" to deter you from viewing it. It is worth your time to do so. I highly recommend it! And if you want more (much) detail as well as complete sourcing and documentation, read the book. It's all there.

Where is the option for negative stars

Best place for this movie is the trash can. Pure spin, propaganda and distortions.

Get this. Get the truth.
Finally, we're getting some truth. This brainwashing program goes way back, and Death of a Nation exposes a lot. The presentation was great and made the vast amount of information easy to absorb. I wish Dinesh would make two more movies. I would like to see one exposing the deep state. I would like to see another showing how ungodly thinkers have taken over every means of communication: education, news, entertainment, libraries, parks, social media, and search engines.

A brilliant condemnation of the modern republican party
Verified purchase
The director, who had pleaded guilty to campaign finance violations and was pardoned by Trump two weeks prior to releasing this movie, attempts to pin every evil of Southern slavery and the Nazi's on the Southern Democratic party, and in turn paint Trump as a modern day Lincoln. The problem is that Southern Democrats of that era were religious conservatives that believed in white male suffrage, manifest destiny, limited government and states rights (see Jacksonian Democracy). Southern Democrats started voting Republican as the Democratic Party shifted towards social liberalism and larger government. So, to all of my fellow Americans who gave this a good rating: Please stop and consider that by doing so you're agreeing with the premise of the movie, which is that your conservative forefathers were the inspiration for the Nazis, and that some of their actions were too evil even for Hitler.

Invites one to think
Similar to Hillary's America

You know it must have hit a nerve when critics resort to creative namecalling and labels but no substance or examples in the critique.
