5 stars! A must see film for anyone curious about how the discovery of the BRCA1 breast cancer gene changed history. Medical research by research geneticists - those driven to never give up on a theory and to eventually prove that theory correct. Watch it. The film is inspiring! Annie Parker is an amazing woman! The movie also makes one realize how long (time frame = many years) research really takes in these days of fast made vaccines and "cures".

5.0 out of 5 starsCourage
It took a lot of courage for Annie to track down the cancer gene, and to go thru all that she did. She was a strong woman. The movie was confusing because the past had a different actress and going back and forth then to have the last patient thank her who looked identical to the younger version of Annie was so confusing. Did she find out if her son was going to have colon cancer like his father? Probably not.

5.0 out of 5 starsStrong women; powerful movie!
This movie had a powerful story acted out by some amazing actors. The strength and perseverance of these women against all the discouragement shown them was nothing short of a miracle. What they did has impacted the lives of so many people who carry a BRCA mutation. I am so glad this movie was made and hope that many people choose to see, rent and/or buy it!

5.0 out of 5 starsI am interested
in this subject, as my daughter falls into the susceptible group of BRCA people. So this movie was personally interesting to me, and also that fact aside, it was an interesting movie on it's own. It is a movie that makes people aware of something they may not know and it is always good to learn even if what you learn doesn't impact you directly.

5.0 out of 5 starsGreat movie and a topic more should care about
This is a very real condition that lots of families have to deal with. This movie does a great job of capturing the struggles of these families and draws attention to a very important topic-- family history and believing something regardless of what the popular belief is . Very good. Highly recommended.
