This is the first book I've read in this series. I bought it because it featured Nash as one of the wolf shifters who found their mate. I've been waiting for Nash's story but I thought it would be in another book in the Wolf Ranch series. This is the series where Nash appeared in several of the books. So it was purely by chance that I found this book. This story was about Nash and Cord (wolf shifters) finding their mate, Rachel (human woman). This story kept my interest as it told Nash's back story, which was really surprising, and Cord's problems dealing with being a scent match to Nash (who he had never met before as most scent match males have known each other for some time) and the fact that he couldn't have kids. Rachel had her own problems, she ran from her well-meaning parents who were trying to push her into a marriage with someone she wasn't attracted to, although they had known each other practically forever.
The sex was hot, though not the main focus, their relationship was. I was disappointed that you never see Cord's or Nash's wolves. I thought they would show them to Rachel when she found out about wolf shifters. You do see Nash's father's wolf because he helps Nash save Rachel from her crazy pseudo boyfriend her parents wanted her to marry. I think there were only a few grammatical errors.
