apparently I saw a different movie?

Apparently I saw a different movie? That's the only thing I can think of, otherwise I do not understand the other reviews. If I wasn't asking "what the...?", I was thinking "who cares?" Slow, boring, no depth to the characters, and the "twist" isn't just telegraphed, we're literally walked in to it. I didn't enjoy this one.

This takes a while to get going but when it finally does there is a wicked twist. Begins as a psychological thriller where everyone comes off as weird and creepy then turns particularly nasty in the third act. This has a similar plot to the excellent film "The Game" with Michael Douglas (though not nearly as good as "The Game", unfortunately).

Acting is decent, pacing is slow, fairly creepy setting, decent production values, one recognizable actor, no gore, brief nudity, minimal profanity, so so ending. A tad above most Prime included horror.

What was this

Honestly, I was interested in the movie at first. But, then once the plot started, I just was rolling my eyes repeatedly. This is horrible for female empowerment. Okay, they take a female and make her vulnerable and she constantly crying. And on top of that, the writer makes her look completely stupid, and she takes a long time to figure out whats going on. No one has time for that. Boo! Waste of time.

Kinda unreal

The movie was lagging behind the speech of the actors. And if people know of one bug, they really beleive they are bugged all over and start looking the bugs, but I guess that would have stopped the show

It kept my interest

There were clues dropped during the film leading up to the last act, but not enough to totally give away the ending. This was better than I was expecting. The mental illness suggestions and drugs she took or wanted to take was enough to lead one down the path of her having delusions. The movie is not fast paced which some may find annoying. Once the movie ends, don't click it off as there is a postscript before the screen rolls the cast.

I would have given this flick 5 stars-but it does have one or two slow spots.

Interesting but for a thriller it isn't thrilling because you don't care...

watch and see. Also, an alternative ending would have been more gruesome or after the "smile of satisfaction" put some money in her pocket, another twist.

It has potential to be better in other words.
