Lara Jones was born and raised in Iowa and still resides there with her husband and children. She’s an author of erotic romance novels and devotes hours to creating steamy novels with happy endings that she hopes entertain people, make them laugh and sometimes cry, but always ends the book feeling good.

Lara started writing when she was thirteen. She found writing was a way to comfort herself during her rough teenage years, and she never stopped. It was only when her mother and sister pushed her did she finally send in a novel, and to her surprise, people enjoyed it and asked for more.

You can usually find her at her home in the country surrounded by her family and many animals and the majority of the time in her quiet little office, conjuring up whole new interesting families and communities.

Some of Lara’s favorite things are spending time with her family, her dogs, riding horses, gardening, cooking, hiking and, of course, writing and reading romance novels.

I really, really dislike that as Doms who promised a friend to protect her, their method was to be complete d-bags. When your are helping someone with something new, you don't leave them alone or ignore them for hours at a time. She was treated like complete trash but then forgave them right away when their lack of protection got her hurt. These two are not Doms, the are a-holes. I won't be reading anymore books by this author, shame on her for thinking it's OK for anyone to be treated this way.

What there was of this story was good. There was a lot of room for more though. Had there been more, it would have been more enjoyable. The characters could have been more defined and the relationship would have been better had it been more fully developed.
