This book not only endorses my perspective on eating LC healthier and higher fats, but it expands a lot my perspective, including finding how deep flawed is the “nutritional un-science” we, doctors and people alike, to be misdirected by the very health professionals that should be guiding us to a more plenty and fulfilling lives with no meds in the horizon.
As a loved writer and mentor frequently chuckles: “high cholesterol is not a statin deficiency illness” and “there is no way that exercise would cure a dietary illness”.
Finally the truth emerges about what happens when millions of people eat as people never have eaten before for millions of millions of years.
The dreadful toll of the high-carb-low-fat lifestyle and "foods" urged upon the world since the 1970s is revealed through this book, and it's unforgettable. The costs are unfathomable. How will the world cope?
Thank you Dr. Noakes and supporters.

Every chapter has its own characteristics after the author that has written it.

As well as the diabetes question, the articles examine the possibility that high carbohydrate diets might be detrimental to other medical conditions.
I don't have Diabetes, and armed with this book, I'm fairly confident that I will never have Type 2 Diabetes.
This is written by some of the best minds in the world regarding diabetes control. Excellent!
I truly hope with within a few years there would be no need for anyone to read this book, but at present, it is a GREAT introduction to modern thinking on diabetes, both for doctors and people who have diabetes themselves.
If you are looking for a book that explains how to reverse Type2 with the science set out in a logical way, see The Diabetes Code: Prevent and Reverse Type 2 Diabetes Naturally
