Pointless Buddy Marital Drama Film

This would have worked better as a story about Big Auto and their peculiarities, as the central "gimme" of the plot is a system that will make an electric car that /looks/ like a "muscle car" /sound/ like a "muscle car". Great satire unless, of course, that's actually been done.
But the story isn't really about that. No, it's about two friends, one (A) married, one (B) toying with the idea.
B spots A's wife having an affair and dithers about telling him. And dithers some more.
While dithering, he manages to convince his sister that he is telling her that her husband is stepping out. Which turns out to be the case.
He also confronts A's wife, who is not pleased with this interference in her marriage.
And the other man, an incident which leads to an intervention for gambling.
And so it goes.
But what does the audience care? In my case, not one bit.

Very Enjoyable Film. Vince Vaughn Steals the Show.

Ron Howard's Directing on this film about two guys who are trying to launch their business by making a deal with Ford to design a hot car, at least in appearance, feel and sound. Kevin James soldiers the design aspect while Vaughn is the fancy talking partner who works the interested key staff at Ford. At no point are you bored with this trip that is full of surprises. Get in and go for a ride.

What a disappointment

The Dilemma was a disappointing film. I thought the combination of Vince Vaughn and Kevin James would make a fun dynamic duo, but their collaboration wasn’t really funny at all. Instead the movie was a real dud. It’s just a boring drama. What a let down.

Really fun movie.

Love Vince and Kevin together. This was a great movie if you want to laugh... even cry a little. Creative story and typical Vince Vaughn and Kevin James characters. We thought we had seen it before since it came out a while ago... but we laughed through the whole thing.

Not worth the money

Ron Howard is a great director but when it came to this film I'm sorry it was pretty weak. A few scenes were funny but when it came through the whole movie I zoned of into space. Read all the reviews and should've listen plus the disc wasn't even secured it had scratches.

Beware the Description. This is Not a Comedy

Beware. This is NOT a comedy. There are uncomfortable situations that may induce uncomfortable laughter, but no funny situations. Overall, I enjoyed the movie, but I was annoyed that the description made it sound like it was a comedy

I do not know how many words I have to write here to get this review through. But, for what time I have to watch movies, this is one of the MOST juvenile Ron Howard has ever done. Vince Vaughn used to be a bit funny. However, with that said this movie in particular appeared to have been written for what, I do not know. I could not watch segments for more than 15 minuets at a time. I finally just gave up and wrote off the ending of the movie. Sorry for the poor review. This is just my opinion. At my age ( OLD ). Just a waste of a production.

Such a Boring Dribble

This movie is such a let down. I love Kevin James and Vince Vaughn and with the talented Ron Howard as the director you would wonder how this mess ever happened. I don't think I laughed at all throughout the entire movie,...and I *think* it's supposed to be a sort of dry comedy right? I couldn't tell if they were trying way too hard or just lazy with this flick. The characters chatter on for what seems forever, especially Vince Vaughn. I found myself daydreaming after about a minute into each of his long drawn out chat sessions (sort of like the annoying friend who never shuts up.) I think the writer of this film failed miserably when it could have been an adorable little comedic gem. Don't waste your time, unless however, you'd like something to help put you right to sleep.
