Uses bogus science in episodes.
Verified purchase
My child likes science and dinosaurs. I teach science and I hate certain episodes of this show. particularly episode 5 of season 1. not only does it give the wrong definition of a scientific theory. Which is a scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world. But it also trots out tripe about dinosaur farts as being a possible cause of the dinosaurs extinction. That concept was based on one study done by 4 scientists and was a model based mostly on conjecture and to this day is not taken seriously or as a theory by the scientific community. It was a thought exercise that some media outlets took out of proportion. I also feel the need to nit pick the visualizations of multiple dinos on this show for lack of feathers and other issues. At any rate this is not nearly as useful or teaching as dinosaur train or other such shows.

My kids watched only one episode of this and didn't like it. I watched it with them. They are right, there are lots of other kids series that are way better than this. The acting is terrible.

My 5 year old absolutely loves this show. He is busting out with dinosaur facts that are way over my head. My only complaint is that there are not more seasons. Educational, age appropriate and promotes budding scientists!

Great for both my boys, ages 5 and 7

I have 2 boys, ages 5 and 7. I usually make them watch something together. Finding a show they both agree on, that I also agree on, can be challenging. This show is colorful and engaging while also being educational. Both my boys and I all love this show.
