This show is excellent. The acting is good
We found Dana before we knew about Dan and Trek. This show is excellent. The acting is good, both by humans and dinosaurs. My son seems to gravitate toward strong female character leads, and Dana paired with the dinosaurs is a magical combination. We love the family stories, discovery of different kinds of adaptations, and the way the show ties dinosaur facts into animal behaviors we can find in our pets or just with a walk to the park. In particular, I love that the dad likes to craft and sew, the family has come together later in life (the girls appear to be step-sisters) and that the parents expect the girls to think of others, share with each other, problem solve, and take care of chores around the house. Its just a really realistic family view alongside the dinosaurs.

I have to say that the storyline with the neighbor this season had me in tears. The show is just really well done and I recommend it to any dinosaur enthusiast kids and their adults to enjoy together. I keep recognizing Michela Luci's voice in other shows and I think she is one to watch!!

My 4 year old son loves it. Dana is a very relatable character for a boy or girl.
I saw this was free with Prime, so I just put it on one day to see what it was. My son came flying over to see what I was watching, and was hooked instantly. The show has a more accurate depiction of dinosaurs based on current scientific research compared to any other dinosaur program I've ever seen. Dinosaurs are compared to birds, and often show with hair or feathers, as we believe they actually had in many cases. I think the show does a good job mixing a real family dynamic with the imagination of Dana, while she is pretending that dinosaurs are all around us. She is a very relatable character for a boy or a girl, I think. She is just portrayed as a curious kid who likes dinosaurs.

Also I do not find that this show is scary in the least as some people have mentioned. Maybe if your kid is very sensitive. But my son just turned 4 and is not scared of anything shown on here.

Great Series!
Dino Dana is such a great series! My little girl loves dinosaurs! The show is a great show for girls, because dinosaurs are normally associated with boys. The dinosaurs are so realist, I would of loved a show like this growing up. We watch the whole season 1 one so many times. It is not annoying kid show, like some kid shows are. I was happy to see season 2! I hope there will be a season 3 too! The Game of Bones game was cool. My little girl liked it, and wanted to play it. I also love Dana backpack. From season one the T- Rex dancing episode was one of her favorites. The show is fun, and you learn about dinosaurs too. Thanks Amazon for making this show!

Great!
So much children’s programming is puerile drivel. It is so rare to find children’s programming that is engaging and filled with useful information. My daughter loves dinosaurs, space, and math games. This show is an excellent stimulus for her love of palaeontology. What I love about this show is the family members find time to pay attention to each other. They do not talk down to the main character or question her interactions with long extinct dinosaurs in “real life”. Dino Dana is now our evening tradition before bedtime. Dad, Mom, and munchkin (2.5) all snuggle up for a dinosaur adventure together as we all learn about dinosaurs. The family room is strewn with dinosaur action figures, the dino-pedia, and several other dinosaur books. Please make many many many more seasons of this terrific show.

Great show for kids who love dinosaurs.
My 4 year old daughter loves Dino Dana. She’s watched the 1st season several times and is loving season 2 just as much. The stories are fun and the dinosaurs are decent looking. We have learned a lot about different dinosaurs from this show. My daughter wants to learn more, take dinosaur fossil hunting trips, read about dinosaurs and it mostly started with discovering this show.

My 4 year old absolutely loves this show! He has been obsessed with dinosaurs since before his 2nd birthday and the whole Dino Dan/Dino Dana franchise has been our go-to program! I love the imagination and creativity it encourages while also giving kids a chance to learn solid facts about their favorite dinosaurs. Age appropriate content without any "dumbing down" of the material - even some awesome exploration of family dynamics. The franchise keeps getting better! Hope it continues!

Stong. Female. Leader.
By far my daughter's favourite show. Dana is approachable for even the smallest children. They may not understand the words yet but they catch on. At 4 years old my daughter can repeat the names of and identify dinos Ive never even heard of. The plot lines have Dana solving problems, and learning new things not related to dinos too. Who know a show like this would make my kid try Indian food without batting an eyelash!
It means a lot to have girls in the central roles without pandering in any way... no added sparkles or tiaras, unless Grandma gets involved. Bravo!
