Ruined white seats after 1 DAY!

Ruined leather in 24 hours! I drive a Tesla model 3 with white interior and I have a diono Rainier car seat. I bought the car this Friday. Per diono, I should only be using a diono seat protector under my seat. I ordered this and installed it on the following Sunday morning. 24 hours later I decided to pull out the seat to move it and my car that I haven't even had for 3 full days has RUINED leather!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS SEAT PROTECTOR. I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS UPSET! There is no telling how much this seat protector will cost me.

Bottom of mat melted onto leather seat

This mat was placed under my infant car seat for 9 months. The foam bottom of the mat melted and is now stuck on my leather seats. I have used leather cleaner and a towel and am still not able to get the foam bits off the leather. The car does not even get hot. I live in New York and the car is in a garage 95% of the time. Very disappointed.

We left the tags on the seat protector and they ended up melting onto our leather car seat. We live in the Midwest and this summer was not that hot. I would highly recommend cutting the tags off the item before using it.

Do not buy if you have leather seats!

Do not buy this if you have leather seats! If you have cloth seats this would be a lifesaver but on leather it unsafely slides around and no matter what how tight you get the seatbelt, the car seat slides due to this being under it. I love our Diono carseats and bought two of these to protect my leather seats only to find that they don't work with leather and make the seats unstable.

I had read up on all these seat protectors, thought i had the best one. I had this during chicago fall, winter and spring (no hot temps) and when i moved it there was BLACK TAR underneath. now my seat wasn't covered in the stuff, but if you get something to protect your seat and it ends up doing more damage=product failure.

I REALLY wanted this to work! I have 2 single Diono seat protectors, but wanted the full length one for extra protection from my messy kids. I have them both in the 3rd row of my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica. Unfortunately the cover was SO LONG that nothing fit properly. There was too much bunching up in spots to make car seat installation safe. Also the latch system did not line up with the cut outs at the bottom. Great quality product, just doesn't mesh well with the Pacifica back seat.

Great seat covers for heavy car seats

I’ve bought four of these now. Two have had big infant seats under them and two have had HUGE booster seats. We have leather seats and after using a car seat with no cover underneath and ruining a leather seat I said never again! After getting another car with leather seats we bought this seat cover and I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve had to move the carseats and the leather seat underneath is in perfect condition, even after having the seat cinched down as tight as possible. These covers are pretty thin but do a great job protecting from pinches, lines, and also spills. I will never buy a different kind. For the money, I feel like these are a great choice!

I'm finally at that stage in life where I get overly excited about the perfect car seat protector. This has been my favorite purchase in my entire eight years of parenting. The Diono Ultra Mat XXXL is a game changer for catching all the little kid crumbs and spills. It's on the pricey side, but the quality is completely justifiable and cheaper than a full-detail-cleaning job. I just replaced two single seat protectors that have been in our car for years with my first two kids, as we are surprisingly expecting our third. I fully expect to be able to reduce the ungodly amount of hours spent cleaning boogers, and other mysterious substances from the crevices of my beloved vehicle and reclaim my weekends back with my family.

We have a smaller cross-over SUV (Toyota Venza), and I originally thought this item would be too large for our backseat, as most products like this tend to not fit well, but luckily, the XXXL name is a little deceiving; it actually fits PERFECTLY across the entire backseat. It would easily fit larger vehicles as well. The holes for the seatbelts appear to be designed to accommodate almost any vehicle. It's also thicker and more durable than the other brands of seat protectors we have previously owned. If you love having a clean vehicle as much as you love your kids or pets, this is a product you absolutely need in your life. Trust me on this one!

Considering the specific purpose of these covers is to PROTECT the seats from damage, I was hugely disappointed to find permanent stains in my white seats from these protectors. There are crosshatch stains from the cover and big black bars on my seats now. I would've been far better using a white towel - live and learn. Hopefully this helps other Tesla owners!

Fits Mk8 Golf perfectly

Really chuffed with these. Ordered as I’d just got a new VW Golf and realised that the super soft velour fabric that I fell in love with in the showroom was completely impractical for life with two toddlers. We use a GB Vaya (isofix) and a Axkid Minikid (belted) and found that the protector didn’t compromise the installation at all (although I moved the protector slightly nearer the door when installing the minikid which seemed to help it align perfectly with the belt path. The size/fit of them is surprisingly good in the golf (it’s got quite stylised rear seats which I thought would cause an issue).

I also saw these are the protectors in the Axkid One promo videos which was a good deciding factor for me when I was torn between this Diono protector and the official Axkid premium protector...plus I got two for less than the cost of one.

These are great - do exactly what they say so far, and I've had them for over a year and no issues what so ever.
I've leased a car and have to return it with 'reasonable wear and tear' - so wasn't sure if permanent indentations in the back seats caused by kids' car seats would be covered by this.
The rear seats in my last car were ruined because of the kids' seats digging into them.
So I decided to invest in these and am not disappointed. They are easy to fit, and cover practically the whole seat, including the bottom section which is prone to little muddy footprints and scuffs.
They will fit most if not all cars, and make spills and mess easy to clean up as well.
They have a little pocket at the bottom, but it is very small.
I also bought the Diono Car Seat Back protector - it is great as before I had them the back of passenger seat got scuffed within about 3 seconds of tiny feet getting in the back.
Highly recommended.

This product is great for protection , especially from children's car seats. My previous one was ok but when the seat was removed there were marks in the leather.

No marks at all after using this one. It has a quality look a feel and is super simple to fit. It actually has a flap that hangs over the front of the seat to protect the carpet from muddy shoes, nice touch.

Would not hesitate to purchase another one, and have recommended to friends and family.
