Such a great movie and a plot twist in the middle you won’t expectThis was such a really good movie. Usually I know the plight of a movie right away there’s no surprises I’m not caught off guard at all. This movie caught me off guard I didn’t know till right up till the plot twist what was going on. Dirt meh-sic.

Definitely lower budget. I enjoy all of these actors, but it’s kinda hard to really get “into” the story. Just not great material and the players unfortunately suffer for it. I had a hard time feeling any real chemistry between the leads, who are individually interesting enough. They just didn’t make sense together.

Missed the mark, story had me scratching my head and guessing what was actually being said. Jumped around and really did not tell me a story. Very dead end all the way to the end. We almost turned it off but hey, Covid, nothing better to do.... but would not do it again. I blame the director and producer. Actors were ok.

Keep moving for something else.

I don’t think the actors did a bad job, I think they did a good job. The script just didn’t make much sense. I read other reviews after I watched it. Apparently it’s a great book and the script is super sporadic and was just as confusing to every one else. There is no character development. The trailer shows the only good lines in the movie. It’s just... not good unfortunately.

Overly dramatic

This film is visually appealing but the story did not maintain my attention. I see the story as contrived to evoke sympathy and horror.

The best part of the film was the showing of what it is like to experience untreated Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.

Lots of twists in this love story!

I thought this was an excellent and entertaining movie. The actors were all very talented and believable in their respective roles. (Including the beautiful dog!) Garret Hedlund was remarkable.

They never should. have made the book a movie. I'm pretty sure. the book reads about as tortured and slow as the film but what a waste of time
