Now for the disclaimer. If you are shredding every day, shredding a few pieces of mail at a time, then this should be just right for you. If you have large stacks of 'incriminating evidence' to shred, then you may want to spend some of your ill-gotten gains on a more high-end shredder, as you will probably get frustrated by the feature that powers the shredder off to protect it when it overheats. It seems to allow only about 5-ish minutes of use, then stops - and takes longer to cool down than it was running. After it cools down it works again, but it definitely keeps you from getting through a back log quickly.
UPDATE 08/08/2018: I used this shredder a few times per week since it was purchased. I did not go above the 12 sheets that it listed as the maximum, and usually did only about half that as a maximum. I've had to un-jam it about 4-5 times since I've owned it, but yesterday it finally got beyond repair (at least by me) and will need to be replaced. The motor still runs, but it no longer spins. When I looked at it more closely, there are little plastic pieces that appear to be broken off next to the gears. I reviewed this originally in Feb 2016, so I got about a year and a half worth of use from it. I leave it to you whether that is a satisfactory amount of use for the price. Good luck!
I purchased this for home use and only used once or twice a month to shred my personal credit card statements. I believe I had for 3-4 months before the unit stopped working. Total pieces of paper shredded couldn't have been more than 100 pieces of paper, not all put through at once either, one to two pieces of paper at a time over the life before it died. I did call customer service and they asked for the order# from Amazon. I gave them the number and they said they would send out a replacement unit. I was happy to hear this, and was waiting for my replacement. A month later no unit was sent. I called again and they said it wasn't processed and that they would send out replacement. New unit arrived and was working perfectly. Same thing happened, after a few months and not much use, while shredding some bills again the unit stopped working. Of course a few weeks ago I shredded the info from who I talked to and the dates because the unit was working, and now it's gone. I will not call Bonsaii again, I will eat the $60 dollars and get a new shredder from someone else. I figure if I do call that the same thing will happen over and over again.
Although it advertises that you can shred staples and paperclips, the little four-page manual recommends that you remove them before shredding. I so recommend.
You get up to three minutes of continuous run time before you're supposed to let it rest for an hour before continuing. But don't worry; you'll have plenty to do during that hour--removing clogged shredded paper from the cutters (see photos--first one before cleaning shredders by hand, second one after, but before using a tiny jeweler's screwdriver and needle-nosed pliers to remove the rest). I remove as much as I can, then run the shredder in reverse before adding one more sheet to get the remaining pieces out of the shredder.
For those who complain about the credit card and CD/DVD shredder, the little picture on the top now only shows the CD/DVD logo on that shredder slot and shows a logo of a credit card in the paper-shredder slot. The CD/DVD is cut into three strips, so you wouldn't want to shred your credit card there. Use the paper shredder slot.
I gave it two stars instead of one because I do like the resulting shredded paper. If you need packing material, it would be excellent for that.
Also, the top of the shredder is molded to fit only the basket that comes with it. Despite, how careful I was taking the top off to empty the basket, I made a mess. My preference is to have a pull out basket. I had pull out baskets previously and had minimal to no mess to clean.
I returned the machine for a refund.

The customer service from Morning Joy UK was first class and we would highly recommend this company.

The CD and credit card shredder is a slight disappointment. It only seems to have two blades and no crosscut, so a credit card is only chopped into three pieces. With modern chip-and-pin cards, this is insufficient; there's a good chance the chip won't be destroyed as it might not pass through the blade, hence only four stars on this product.
This product was bought based on the product reviews.
How disappointed we were in reality. The first shredder we received worked fine when it came to shredding old till receipts but anything more more than till receipt paper or tracing paper forget it! We bought the larger 12 sheet cross cut machine as we have a few old files to shred. There is no way this shredder can cope with 12 sheets it barely managed 3 at a time. After a couple of occasions using this shredder, the gearing completely packed up.
When I contacted the customer support team, their service was brilliant. They were responsive and eager to remedy the situation. We sent a video to them and they agreed that it was the gearing system and with that in mind they sent a replacement. Great Service!
The replacement shredder arrived and on the first attempt after feeding a single sheet of A4 paper at a time with the shredder running for 2 - 4 mins, the red light comes on. So we allowed the shredder to cool down as per manufacturer's instructions. (I think we left for a total of a couple of hours.) After that duration resumed shredding documentation only to incur the same sounds before which was the gearing.) (I think we left for a total of a couple of hours.)
We are now waiting to hear back from the customer service to see how they are going to resolve
2nd Disappointment Shredding or rather lack of it 6 pages half its boasted limit slow enough leave room and come back again
3rd Disappointment Paper jam with 3 sheet trial machined jammed and stopped with cuttings in the teeth from previous cut
4th Disappointment reverse free off option also jammed
5th Disappointment Manual clearing required to restore operation
6th Disappointment seems like 4 sheets is its happy medium 1/3 of its boasted 12
You might say I was DISAPPOINTED with this product
This is a really good home office shredder that can handle cardboard. If you want to shred a lot of very thick cardboard i would recommend something else. But I'm very happy with it for my purposes.
The on paper specs are not close reality.
They claim it copes with 12 sheets of 80gsm continuously for 4 minutes. In reality you could see it on the verge of jamming with 5 sheets of 90gsm.
To its credit, the actual build quality seemed good and sturdy so I was expecting good things.
The shredder operated for about 10 minutes of light use (receipts and 2-3 A5 pages) jamming up a couple of times. The overheat light came on, and left for 30 mins. Tried again, and 10 minutes later it jammed a quarter way down a 4 page BT bill, and that finished it off. Whilst attempting to reverse there was a horrific screech, then you could hear the motor just spinning and the shredder not rotating.
The paper was removed manually revealing areas where paper dust had compacted like chalk between the teeth. This obviously caused the final jam and the gears to shred themselves.
Exaggerated specification delivered with poor quality components.
