3.0 out of 5 starsEVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT SYFY NETWORK AND SHOWS FROM NOW ON!

This was a great Series that the SyFy network Cancelled after 2 seasons!
The acting and the writing were really excellent!

It wasn't so much the cancellation that pisses me off... What pisses me off is that the TV series' that these movie/TV companies, put so much investment in, simply cancel the shows without ANY thought or care to the customers and fans of the shows!

This is extremely evident in the fact that... once again... for this show... there was NO attempt at en ending episode, with some kind... any kind of conclusion to the story.

But... NO, Board Members of companies like SyFy or CBS, sit around and cancel shows because... and only because of money! They make their selfish decisions caring NOTHING about the fans or customers watching their shows!
If they did care about their customers, they would at least create an ending or concluding episode to the stories they created, so customers and fans would not simply be left hanging!

I'm sick and tired of being left hanging by these greedy corporate money mongers, show after show after show!
It's time we... their customers... hurt them back... with something they can understand... in their pocketbooks.

EVERYONE SHOULD BOYCOTT SYFY NETWORK AND SHOWS FROM NOW ON!

4.0 out of 5 starsand then cancelled it when it got really good. Completely insane

It only got 4 stars instead of 5 because the network sabotaged the darn show, and then cancelled it when it got really good. Completely insane. The characters are good, but grow into great. They made season one of the show virtually impossible to see. I couldn't buy it, or find a place to watch it until just recently. I saw it on iTunes and bought it. Watched season 2 on Syfy online. Then they cancel. Ugh! Why would they expect people to start watching the series in season two if they missed season one. Very frustrating.

This damned thing turned into a soap opera. Where stupid conversation go on endlessly, simply a low brow repulsive show. Lured into this garbage with a sci fi moniker but it ends up real quick into a stupid girl plot. Do not waste your time on this.

5.0 out of 5 starsThis is definitely one of the best SyFy network series produced!

The story line for Dominion is an interesting extension of the Legion movie. It’s been 25 years since God disappeared without a word to any of his children, human or angel. Only a few mystical clues were left behind, the most prolific being a schematic of symbols “tattooed” to the skin of the “Chosen One” who is either the key to the world’s salvation or its damnation. The world essentially falls into chaos as the angels split alliances seeking to either destroy or protect mankind in hopes of catalyzing God’s return, with Archangel twins Michael, leading the charge to save, and Gabriel, leading the charge to destroy. The humans, desperate for survival, have also formed a post-apocalyptic caste system of extreme poverty and wealth in hopes of creating a sense of order as they fight against the angels, while trying to contain the fighting amongst themselves. Season 1 has many levels of intrigue, leaving you wondering who is a friend and who is foe. Relationships are tested and tried at every corner. This is definitely one of the best SyFy network series produced, from the cast to the sets and special effects. The story line is solid and so are the acting elements. They really found a nice balance between with the “human” condition and supernatural. The producer has taken something ancient and interpreted it into modern age. Filled full of intrigue and twists, it definitely keeps you wanting more. Dominion Season 1 has many levels of intrigue, leaving you wondering who is a friend and who is foe. Relationships are tested and tried at every corner. Watch it. It’s definitely worth purchasing to add to your collection if your into action and the supernatural.

5.0 out of 5 starsGreat show!

I love this show! It had a very interesting storyline but like most Sci-fi shows, it was cancelled before its time. This one managed two seasons before its untimely demise. Still, it's worth watching and very enjoyable if you like post apocalyptic shows. It loosely works as a sequel to the movie "Legion" although it's set about 25 years from where the movie left off.

As a non-religious person, I wasn't sure I would like this show since I assumed it would have some heavy-handed pro-religion message. I'm glad I gave it a chance, because that's not the case. It's just goofy post-apocalpytic fun. The acting and special effects are pretty a good by tv standards and the plot is great for binge watching. I can see how it would be pretty offensive to someone who takes their religious text literally (for example, the angels have orgies and occasionally whip people). Probably not appropriate for kids or younger teens - there is nudity and implied sex, and a lot violence. Super fun for adults though. :)

I recently got rid of cable, but when I had it, I never watched the syfy channel. If they had more shows like this, I would have watched it more. I like this show because it has a unique premise. Although, it's somewhat like a lot of the vampire shows but with Angels. I love the guy who plays Michael. I'm always impressed by a person playing a human look alike who you can tell is just not quite human. I think that must be difficult given that he is in fact a human in real life. And really the same is true for the guy who plays his brother and the woman who pays his sister. They all seem to have this otherworldly thing going. I really like the entire cast, including the humans. I'm looking forward to season 2.

Creative storylines, terrific casting of adorable & believable actors, wonderful sets & wardrobe!
The show is quite visionary! Vaun Wilmot is its terrific Creator & Tom Wisdom is BEAUTIFUL in the role of his life!
The only downside I've seen is that it doesn't stick to the Bible regarding the last days.
It's my belief if it was closer to real end time prophecy - viewership would at least double, if not triple.
But I love the show, it's Creator & the cast. All top notch & certainly impatiently waiting for Season 2!
Love you guys (and gals!)
