Never expected Knightley to play a bounty hunter but she pulls it off

Keira Knightley is a bounty hunter working with Mickey Rourke and Edgar Ramirez in this feature by Tony Scott. You can immediately tell this is a Scott film from the voice over commentary by Knightley, the dark hues, and more. The film uses a series of flashbacks to explain how Knightley ended up being a bounty hunter and then how her ego let her down. The story starts off small and then builds up into a huge crime which Knightley and company are caught in the middle of. There’s even some comedic moments thrown in such as when Mo’Nique goes on the Jerry Springer Show. Other times it goes a little too over the top but then rights itself.

I never saw Knightley doing this kind of role but she does it well. She’s both tough and sexy. Rourke has some funny lines and Ramirez plays the moody guy. The film also has a good supporting cast including Christopher Walken, Delroy Lindo, Mo’Nique, Lucy Liu, Jacqueline Bisset plus Ian Ziering and Brian Green from Beverly Hills 90210.

I didn't open this movie & it disappeared after 48 hours!!! I don't think I opened it yet! VERY annoying that I got into this movie a few years back. Again I had to take care of a problem in the community... so I never saw it after the first 8 minutes.
Please Amazon put this movie on my account again please!
It's bout a wealthy gal who decides she'd be a good bounty hunter.
*****Expect: Violence, smoking, drug use, bad language (LMAO),sexuality straight, & smoking*****
Lmao as if smoking is as bad as the other things!
I liked it because at the time it was released I was a Parole & Probation Officer in WA... the state not D.C.!
Micky Rourke ( spelling is off) looks like he'shad some plastic surgeries. Certainly not as many as he's had! Sometimes I can hardly recognize him! Yeah his boxing career mashed his face and he was a nice looking guy. This almost Pre-surgical Mickey! Almost...
Anyway it's not for everyone. It's raw and dirty & I like it! Edgar Ramirez was good as well. First time I had seen him in a movie. He's don a few more since this film!

I really want this to be a good movie. The premise is intriguing and some of my favorite actors are in the movie. The story was so-so, but the dialog was A LOT of cliche and if I hear the phrase "let's do this!" in one more movie! Doesn't anyone notice how tired and over used some of those standard tough girl/guy phrases are???

Typical Hollywood wokesters depicting people that actually work for living in the real world like corrupt imbeciles. I'm not saying I know any bounty hunters but to think how reckless these people are they would be dead in a week. I watched this because Christopher Walken is always great and he was in this movie as well, everything else including the constantly jerking camera was ridiculous.

A bit entertaining the first time I watched it years ago. Wasnt so good this time on blu ray. Looks good on blu ray, but the movie was pretty stupid. Mickey Rourke was great, but was severely under utilized

[[ASIN:B000HF4TIM The Last Boy Scout]] will always be my favorite Tony Scott movie, but with the exception of Man On Fire, I can say this is one of his better movies (It's not 1986 and I don't have the hots for Tom Cruise so Top Gun is outta there).

The cinematography on this movie is amazing and totally in your face. The story, although not an exact account of the life of Model turned Bounty Hunter Domino Harvey, it is very enjoyable to watch.

The cast is amazing (Mo'nique is crazy and this movie made me like her, seeing her outside the sitcom scene).

The whole Mescaline in the coffee bit and the ensuing chaos afterwards continues to have me reeling every time I watch ths movie, but the whole visual display of the overall movie just adds to it's mania.

I love this movie. Thank you Tony Scott.

I had purchased this as a DVD in Asia years ago.

I liked it enough to buy it again as a Blu-ray, so that tells you a lot about the movie right there.

Funny thing was (for me), that the dialog is somewhat different all throughout the movie, noticeably if you have watched another edit of the film about 6 times. There is a good chance this will apply to precisely no other people buying this movie, and really it did not detract from the film at all, nor does it change the plot/ending, just made it an odd thing for me to watch, i wanted to get another TV with the DVD hooked up and compare them side by side.....

It is a good film with a really superb cast, it action packed and guns and kick'in ass... and she's very hot... and it's cheap, so worst case if you hate it, give it to your enemy!

Director/Writer are Great!

Overall it's great and keeps you on your toes. I love the director and writer. The only thing I would recommend is to add a scene with a Quantum Computer.
