Read the bestselling hit series, The Halloween Boys book two, the same guys, the same love, and brand new adventures.
I knew that my first betrayal should be swift and long-earned.
Ghost underestimated me. Judas likely didn’t think of me at all. Wolf pitied me. To them, I was a peculiar jokester, a shameless flirt, and a restless musician. Brothers and lovers often trivialized the gifts of their counterparts.
Oh, he’d never do that to me. He’s a good guy.
I’d been biding my time. My initial foray back into the world of monsters, released from my small-town prison cell, would have to be big. They’d have to never see it coming for it to work. And they didn’t.
Then there was Blythe. This darling little creature of death that came sulking into a diner with no money and only fear so strong it took my breath away.
I couldn’t ignore her, I couldn’t get her out of my head . . . and I couldn’t forget that she was mine.
I was running again.
Except for this time instead of running from my past, I was running from home, running from myself. Maybe I’d find something on this journey that would help me know what to do. The Story Keeper’s ship had a navigator . . . I found myself wishing I had one, too.
It didn’t help my confusion that something about Onyx was screaming at me for attention. I was attracted to him, it would be impossible not to be. There were witches claiming we were all mated, The Halloween Boys and me. I couldn’t help the pull of Onyx’s emerald stare, or the way my heart beat faster just wondering what he’d say next.
Onyx Hart was sharp and charming . . . though there was something else. There was something else under his so carefully crafted surface that I’d yet to uncover. And I really wanted to uncover it.
But how could I slay part vampire and part dragon without getting bitten and burnt to a crisp?
You're invited to The Bleeding Heart Ball this Valentine's Day . . . In book two you'll go on a pirate adventure, find a new vampire coven, and be immersed in gothic romance and monster fun. And of course The Halloween Boys' own brand of chaos.
Dragon and the crew go in search of his family. They'll find allies, and foes, in unlikely places as they travel to a mysterious castle in the sky... and a brand-new spooky town where new and old hauntings converge. They may be a world away but secrets and evils have a way of following them wherever they go.
This is a dark polyamorous romance intended for readers 18+. There is no cheating. Please check CW's on the author's site before reading.

So um... I love Dragon. He might be my favorite Halloween Boy. This was such a fun book. It was action packed and fast paced. What is not to love about vampires, pirates and some blööd play 🩸 I loved the gothic feel of this book. I genuinely didn't know what was going to happen next. Kat definitely takes her time with these characters and the spice is the reward. It is hot, filthy and will have you taking breathers (or ✨ buzz buzz ✨ breaks 😏). The sexual tension between Blythe and Onyx was hot and heavy.
I like that Blythe is still figuring out who she is and how each of the boys help her find out something new about herself. She pushes herself and Onyx to the next level in every way. I can't say enough good things and I'm really looking forward to Wolf's book.
How does Kat create such a beautiful world in all the horror and drama? I had so many wishes when it came to the new characters introduced like Lolth and Eylsium but time will tell when we see them again.
Also, was anyone else super frustrated in the first book how they weren’t all just getting down and dirty together? Fear not, you will be rewarded for your patience in this book.
Also, Judas! I guess we need to keep reading, right?! But I love where we are going with him!
Perfect haunting story
So many questions at the end
How does biting like that turn me on?
What is happening with the peen knot?!
How did Ames demon settle itself?
Witches are bitches and then cry when shiz goes down.
Until June. That is when I hope to get some answers
We are the women who fell in love with monsters...
I am screaming, crying, throwing up. I have been waiting to read and review this book since I finished Ghost. Kat wanted to help Onyx write his story and she absolutely killed it. It was beautiful, haunting, heart breaking, dramatic, spooky, and oh so spicy.
I loved following Onyx's adventure and getting to learn more about him and his heritage. Then we get to see more of his relationship with Wolf (honestly my favorite couple) and the one he wants to have with Blythe. And Blythe? Watching her figure out who she is and who she's meant to be is so much fun. You just know by the end of the series she's going to be a serious force to be reckoned with and one HBIC.
I struggled writing this review because there are really no words, or not enough words to write out how I feel about this book (the series and the author). Book two of the Halloween Boys was everything we were promised and so much more. It was just as good if not better than the first and each book gets its hooks in you and never let's you go.
One last thing, Judas (Devil. My husband. Love of my life.) 🥵 There are more small scenes with him in this book and Kat? You're killing me (and I'm enjoying every second of it).

I love the adventure of this one. How they journey unfolds and the secrets that are revealed. I had almost as much fun trying yo guess what was happening than I did devouring how hot everyone is in this.
Can't wait for Wolf's book, he is definitely my favourite. Though with the element of mystery Judas is becoming a close second.
